They were simply the kindest. I am writing this review a bit late, so about 2 weeks ago I had a friend who came over from overseas, and her glasses broke - it was missing a small screw. They were very efficient and kind, and we were very satisfied with the experience. I definitely recommended this place to my friends and neighbors, and if you are looking for a good optics place in pvd, this is it! :)

I brought my mom here for an urgent visit, she had a vitreous detachment. They got us in within an hour, we're super friendly, the doctor was extremely thorough and explained everything really well. Since she didn't require treatment, we made a follow up appointment. While we weren't there for glasses, my whole family plans on making appointments for regular eye care here, we've been meaning to switch. They had a really unique stock of glasses and sunglasses.

Excellent experience here. I called another well-known eye place in Providence repeatedly to get an appointment. No one even called me back. The super friendly person at College Hill Eye got me in next day. Prompt service, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and a terrific doctor who was honest, responsive and fun. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I needed eye exams, new glasses, and contact lenses after our family moved to Providence. We contacted College Hill Eye, and quickly got appointments. From that point on, the entire staff, particularly Nikolas, was extremely kind, professional and prompt to meet our appointment needs. Sorry our visits will likely only be on an annual basis.

College Hill Eye & Optical provided an excellent experience, as well as excellent information! The last few times I have gone to an optometrist (over the last few years) I have told the doctor that I feel as though my eye sight has been getting worse and I have been shrugged off every time. Working with Dr. Isik was an amazing experience. He took the time to allow me to ask all of my questions, helped me look into my colorblindness, and validated my concern! I got a new prescription and have had it for a few weeks now and am LOVING it! Headaches are down and I am so glad I was referred to College

It was very quick and easy to schedule my first appointment. Everybody had masks on and they sanitized the exam rooms between patients.
I went in because I was seeing odd lights in my vision, so I really appreciated how thorough they were with checking my eye health. I feel good knowing I can come here if I ever have problems with my vision.

From start to finish, a great, superlative experience. I called as a new patient with severe eye pain, and they saw me that morning. Very professional, polite, and efficient front-desk person. The doctor saw me promptly after I arrived, and after a thorough examination explained very clearly what had happened. Though I'm sure he sees this sort of thing all the time, he spent the time to explain what happened to my eye, how it got to that point, and what we could do about it. Too often, doctors are perfunctory and they forget that not everyone knows what they know! Since I needed to wear glasses

I’d have to say my appointment to update my contact lenses was super complete and went way above my previous optometrist. Discovering a slight abnormality in my left eye, they Were able to fit me with a contact lens which was more tailored to my situation which made all the difference in the world. They took the extra time to make sure they got it right.

If you are someone who uses Scleral lenses proceed with caution before heading to this office. After needing a new eye doctor to treat my condition this office quoted me over $4000 for a new set of scleral lenses. Thinking that this quote was extraordinarily high I sought out a second opinion. As a result I now go to a more reputable office, one like my previous eye doctor, who charged over 100% less for the lens, yes the lens were less then double of what was quoted. Proceed with caution before heading to college hill eye!

Honestly, this was the single best eye appointment I've ever had - I wore glasses as a kid and hated the experience, and avoided the eye doc as an adult ... 2 years ago I went to a "chain" optical shop/doc and it was like being herded like cattle. NOT THIS PLACE! This was like walking into a fun spa where everyone was friendly and soothing, like I was the only human on earth that mattered to them.

I went for an eye exam recently to College Hill Eye & Optical. The team there is so friendly, and the space is clean, modern.
I'd never been here before and was greeted immediately when I showed up for my appointment. Again, everyone was very nice. The eye exam was very thorough and explanations by the OD were explained well. The OD also gave me a lot of options for solutions to my eye issues/results of the exam. As someone who's ooooolder and has never needed glasses before, having these options explained to me was great.
The only snafu was when the OD brought me to the ophthalmologist

Can't say enough about this lovely staff of talented individuals. They're dedicated and helpful. The location itself is convenient, with free parking in the back. They always have great music and the frames are gorgeous. Steps away from the new pedestrian bridge, you can have your appointment and then take a stroll or kill time beforehand.

I had gone a few years ago and loved the eyeglasses but then they didn't take the Vision plan I have. Now I needed new eyeglasses and went on a Friday off, during the day. They were closed! They are only open Monday through Thursday and until 6:00 PM at the latest! What kind of elitist crap is this?
I will pay good money for my eyeglasses, I wear them all day, every day, but I have a job. Not everyone is a Professor, student, lawyer or Dr. with flexible hours or has a spouse who is sole support of the family. Some of us have 2 income households and can't make it before 5:15 PM-5:30
