We opened our family-owned business in 1988, and have been serving the greater Fall River area for more than 30 years. We pride ourselves on our happy customers. Carl Soares is a Registered Optician and owner of Pleasant Vision Center. His philosophy has been the same for more than 30 years - do what it takes to make sure customers are happy and healthy.
Our on-site lab provides high-quality lenses, whether it's single vision, bifocals, multifocals, progressives, transitions, high index lenses or prescription sunglasses. We can add coating options such as anti-reflective, anti-scratch or UV. Our optical technicians will make sure that your lenses are made and fitted properly before you leave, and show you how to care for your lenses.
As a health care provider and retailer, we are doing all we can to support the needs of our patients and customers. We are following guidance from the CDC and are making sure that our business practices are consistent with the most up-to-date information. We are open and taking appointments for eye exams, so that our customers can still access needed care.

I've gone there since I was 13, they've always been quick and efficient. I called a few weeks ago to get an eye exam but told them I'd be paying out of pocket, the secretary stated it was $70.00. I got there and service was very quick. Once the gentleman is cashing me out, he proceeds to ask if I'd like to look at the frames. I state I only came for the exam and he asks me again, I told him I'm sure. He then raises the price to $100.00 and states $70.00 is the "discounted rate" for those who gets frames with them as well. I still paid, but I wish the "discounted rate" was mentioned before I had
