Purchasing my new trailer was an easy process.
Unfortunately I had a weld break 3 weeks after purchasing it.
I called to ask about warranty repair.
Was told that I need to bring the trailer in.
I explained that I live 4 hours away and didn't want to drive it that far with the broken weld.
The sales rep was less than helpful.
Basically told me if I couldn't bring it in I would need to find another dealer to do the warranty work.
Couldn't provide any information for a closer dealer or provide direct number for PJ Trailers.
She actually said that maybe she would help find a closer

Great service! I decided to buy a trailer on the day that the sky decided to rain (12/28/20)...lol, I called prior to driving there since Its a 1.5hrs drive for me. Demi was very helpful over the phone and answered ALL my questions, on the 2 trailers I was debating between. I drove down there and when I arrived Tommy helped me out to show me the 2 trailers (yes it was still raining). Again Demi was very helpful in the office. I made my decision and purchased a PJ 14k tilt trailer from them. I’m Very happy w/the trailer And the staff. I’ll be calling them When Its time to buy another trailer

California Trailers was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was looking for a specific PJ tilt trailer that was not readily available locally. They tracked one down for me and had it reserved in one day. Their communication and response time was excellent, and Demi in the office was always quick to keep us updated with the trailers delivery and prep once it came in. My wife and I recently purchased a 22 foot power tilt PJ deck over trailer from this dealer and the experience was great. Very friendly and professional staff. Their price was competitive and they really worked hard to make sure everything was perfect. They stayed late to help me hitch it all up and to double check everything. Great place and great people and after much researching and shopping dump trailers we will be back here for that purchase next month.

This small independent trailer sales and service shop sits right on the Humboldt bay, literally. Just south of Arcata right on the 101. Carries a decent selection of open and enclosed trailers. Dump, gooseneck, car haulers and tilt beds in a variety of lengths and weight loads.
I bought my 6x12 enclosed high top from them a while back and paid a better price for it than any other trailer shop in the area would give me. Gave me a good price the first time, no haggling was needed, and they didn't waste my time or theirs - all in all an easy transaction.

Had to buy a cargo trailer the sales people had gone home for the day and just one of the repair guys helped me pick out the one I needed. I came in 25 min before they closed and we were able to do all the paper work and I was able to drive off with it. I had also just bought a dump trailer from RMI I couple weeks previous and it's already broken and being fixed under warrenty but after looking at their line of PJ dump trailers I'm probably going to try and sell mine and get one from them. They look much more solid. Thanks guys

Terrible customer service, the work they DO is decent, however they forgot to repair several items that I requested they fix. They should consider some sales training due to the fact that they kept trying to tell me ways to repair things myself? I called them with the issues I wanted them to fix. I do not want to try and learn about trailer repairs in a five minute phone call. I am not a trailer repair person nor do I want to be. The owner should definitely consider getting managment some training to pass along to there employees!
