Our story begins in 1969 when Smokey and Janet Robinson moved to Ocala from Hawthorne after a fire destroyed their business. They moved close to Janet's parents and Smokey began working for his father-in-law, Odell Sheppard, owner of Sheppard's Well Drilling. I watched their work and they were really good honest tradesmen. My well needed: air bladder filled, pressure gauge replaced, capacitor and relay panel replaced, rebuild of mains power box. All was said and done in an hour (including time spent educating me). I was charged less than $200 and I feel I didn't pay a single dime more than it was worth. I also got to witness how they train new employees and was happy to see another trade going strong. Thank you.

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday someone ran over my well, ripping up everything. The first person I contacted said that I would have to have a new well drilled. I contacted Smokey's Monday evening and Tom & Ryan were out early Tuesday. Within no time, my pump was back up and working and they saved me a small fortune without having to drill a new well. I will forever be grateful for the wonderful job they did.

Woke up Friday morning, & had no water. Called Smokey's , & Scott was here by 2:00pm to troubleshoot. He determined that either the wiring was bad or the pump was.. They would have to pull the pump to find out. Chris & Brandon arrived about 4:30 in the well pump truck & pulled the pump. They found a break in the wire & replaced it. They also replaced a length of well pipe that appeared to be leaking & added a check valve that I requested. They worked until after dark to make sure we had water before they left & that we were happy with everything. They were knowledgeable & courteous, And the bill

These guys are lifesavers. I was told by another company that my well pump was stuck and could not be pulled out so I’d need a new well drilled. I was looking at having to spend 7 grand on a new well. Enter Smokey’s. Chris and Brandon came out and within an hour had my old pump out! They then installed a brand new pump and bladder tank. Water is crystal clear. They literally saved me thousands of dollars and huge headaches. Fantastic company and I recommend them to any and everyone! Thanks guys!

I wish every business was ran like Smokey’s. My well stopped working and I figured pump was bad. I called them at 745am this morning. By lunch they were there. Mr Felix showed me it was the pump not working and explained everything to me. They installed a new pump and changed some things on my set up to work better than when originally built. The customer service was second to none. Thank you guys for everything.

Over the weekend my water pressure started pulsing in the sink. I wasn't sure what was going on. Then I heard this terrible clattering noise coming from the garage. It was the water pressure switch that connects to my water heater and bladder tank. I decided to take a chance and look up local numbers on Google for well repair. After looking at a few I decided on Smokey's. He had great reviews and seemed like a great choice.
