Ancient Peony Acupuncture
At Ancient Peony Acupuncture my mission is to help you live a more fulfilling and enjoyable life. I will do so by balancing the resources available within you, to maximize your health and well-being. Like the hardy and resilient peony which is known for its strong roots, I will work with you to build up your roots and bring out your beautiful flowers.

Acupuncture originated in China and has been practiced there for thousands of years. Although there are records of acupuncture being used hundreds of years ago in Europe, it was during the second half of the twentieth century that it began to spread rapidly in Western Europe, the United States and Canada.
Services
Acupuncture should not be painful. Because the sensations of acupuncture are subjective, from person to person, there is a broad range of variability. Some patients find acupuncture to very relaxing and feel sleepy afterwards, while others feel invigorated and renewed. Common sensations at the needle sight are a dull ache, heaviness, or spreading.
We will gladly verify your specific coverage - Call or text (914)924-2382. Out-of-network: If your insurance company is not listed above, but your policy has out-of-network benefits, there is a good chance that you can use your insurance.

If your employer allows you to put pre-tax money into a Health Savings Account or a Flexible Spending Account for medical expenses not covered by your insurance, you can use money from these accounts to pay for acupuncture. You can also use it to pay for your deductible, co-pay, and co-insurance. If you have to pay out of pocket, I have set fees.
Driving directions are available on the ' Policies and Forms' tab. There is a circular driveway which leads to a large parking area around the back of the house. Once you have parked your car, look for the black door with my name on the side. Make yourself comfortable and feel free to have a drink of water or herbal tea.

Where should I start!
I injured my wrist doing strenuous yard work....aka hammering a few edge protectors into the ground around a few trees. Actually went to bed fine, but woke up the next morning in extreme pain as if I dislocated // strained it overnight.
Three months prior to starting my acupuncture treatment with this facility I went to a specialist (for wrist) and a general Dr. Both of which gave me a one solve type of solution (cortisone shots) along with a brace for my wrist. I denied the shots. Took the brace, but the brace didn't work, it was not comfortable and it only hurt more after

Since my treatment, my sleeping has definitely improved! I look forward to my appointments, they are very relaxing and calming after a long day of work!

I first was introduced to Ancient Peony Acupuncture this past spring through my friend. At the time, I had been struggling to control my acid reflux for over a year and a half. Way to long, if you ask me. I've seen multiple doctors and experimented with multiple treatments to some avail. But the condition persisted and I was losing hope. Traditional medicine was doing only so much and the doctor told me I would have to undergo invasive surgery to correct my over production of stomach acid. The surgery would have long lasting negative effects on the balance of my body.

That's

Acupuncture at Ancient Peony has helped relieve back pain after my surgery. Shlomo takes the time to learn about your pain and works with you to improve your day to day living. I felt relief from the first visit. The calm and relaxing atmosphere at Ancient Peony enhances the benefits of the acupuncture treatments. I recommend acupuncture and Ancient Peony to anyone experiencing pain that wants an alternative to using medications. There are no side effects to acupuncture.
