Peggy is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a Master's degree in Science and Human Sciences from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and holds a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in nutrition from Texas State University. She completed her internship at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and trained with highly specialized physicians and dietitians in the area of diabetes, kidney disease and weight management.

Peggy helps people find freedom from diets and chronic health conditions through the power of real food. A 1,200-calorie plan is commonly recommended because it prompts weight loss for the average person, who needs 1,600 to 2,400 calories daily to maintain her weight. Actually, 1,200 calories is about as low as you can go without losing muscle mass and jeopardizing a healthy nutritional status.

Body composition by Air Displacement Plethysmography for health, wellness and performance. Basically, the pod measures a pressure response to volume changes within its walls. It's as simple as that. I love Peggy Ramon and her sound nutrion sense. She is both kind and professional. She helps me trouble shoot how I can be a better Type 2 diabetic. I struggle with snacks, and she has provided me with many example and ideas, most of which include pictures of packaging. Between her advice and my PA, my A1C is in the normal range again. (The red velvet donuts are THE BEST!)

I have been in constant contact with Peggy for nutrition and weight loss counseling post pregnancy since I gained 40 lbs. Throughout my lifetime, I have tried many different ways to lose weight and have always failed. I have learned how to understand the food I eat and how my body works with this food. Peggy did not restrict my eating habits, but showed me how to read labels and introduce healthier things into my diet. Took my pre-teen athlete because she'd lost too much weight when she started school sports. Peggy has been phenomenal in giving dietary advice & recommendations. We've put weight back on my baby girl in a healthy way that is conducive to her athletic growth. Peggy takes her time with you & explains everything & the why behind it. Love Peggy!

Peggy is kind and takes her time. I did not continue with her because for me 3-5 daily meals doesn’t work. I found success doing intermittent fasting and following a low carb diet instead. But for others her methods may work.

Mrs. Peggy is a great dietitian, so glad my doctor referred me to see her! I can’t wait to see my results. Just had my first consult with her and am amazed at all of the information that I learned! I want to say that Peggy was amazing and very professional and down to earth ! She puts you at ease right away ! It was my first visit and she came highly recommended .. I love her Visuals and easy to understand meal plans .. would of given 5 stars except for the extended wait time.. About 30 minutes .. but I expected that .. I have doctors appointments all the time and wait times are always an issue ... but seeing Peggy was so worth the wait ! GO SEE HER !
