For over 16 years Andrew Tuller has made functional, rugged outdoor clothing. Tuller's business, Outa Ware, underwent changes but the quality of his products and his business philosophy remained constant. Tuller founded Outa Ware in Big Sky when he worked there as a ski patroller and could not find mittens durable enough to withstand his abuse.
Outa Ware Outdoor Clothing Company makes a full line of outdoor clothing for every season, including ski patrol/ ski area uniforms, search & rescue (SAR) vests, safety vests, ski bibs and jackets, waterproof/breathable pants and jackets, light weight quick drying shorts and pants, fleece jackets, vests, and pants, ventilated mesh bags, and more.
Hope all is well, I was going to give you a hard time about the increase in prices and then had to stop and laugh at how underpriced my existing gear apparently was when I last ordered! It's been a long, long time, since I've ordered gear. In that time there have been so many adventures, and my one constant companions has been my Outa Ware gear.
Do you have trouble fitting into off the rack clothing? Outa Ware will accommodate people who are unable to fit into standard sizes. Whether you have long legs, short legs, a tall torso, long arms, short arms or other needs, I will make you a garment that fits. All Outa Ware pants are unisex. For women I have found that they like less fabric around the waist and do not mind a tight fit while sliding the pants over the hips.
SUPPLEX - This nylon fabric made by Burlington Industries (USA) feels similar to cotton but behaves only like nylon can. It is wind and water resistant, lightweight, colorfast, easy-care and dries quickly. POWDERHORN - SUPPLEX nylon with a durable water repellent (DWR) solution applied to the fibers before the fabric is woven for a long lasting water resistant finish.

I just spent a week skiing in Outa Ware made to measure Couloir Ski Bibs, and I am very pleased. I ordered Outa Wear Bibs because medium short pants by usual ski wear brands are too long for me. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, complexity and strength of these winter pants. These are the most comfortable pants that I ever skied in, where everything stays in place, comfortable, and warm whether you are standing tall or in a low ski stance in deep snow.
The materials are super heavy duty. The design and construction are very thoughtful. My medium pants are roomy for the layers underneath

Unbelievably bad experience with the owner- Andy. I approached him after hearing others reviews of his products, and he was short, rude, and crass with me. Upon asking a variety of questions and trying to get information from him, he responded with a 1 line email. I expected more from a manufacturer like this! I do not expect to be ordering from him any time soon, and if you value being respected as a buyer, i suggest you do the same.

Andy is quality. I have had a pair of his snow bibs for 14 years. They were a high school graduation present and have been used hard for 8 years and 20x's per year for the rest, I may retire them next season if I can't re-waterproof them. I found a pair of his shorts 9 years ago, and have been wearing out the stains ever since. So if you need more; they are hands down the most comfortable, durable do anything awesome outa wear you ever wore!!
