Mitchum Jewelers has to be one of the best jewelry stores from window shopping, repairs, everyday peices, to the timeless jewelry pieces they have you covered. Everybody in the store is so friendly and helpful. It don't matter if you come in after work in your grubby work clothes or you come in and you're in a $5,000 suit they're going to treat you the same and that's something a lot of jewelry stores don't do! There's no judgment everybody is treated with the utmost respect and best customer service around!

My wife lost a family member and was in town visiting. Asked her family what the best jewelry store in the Springfield area is and they all said Mitchum Jewelery. Called immediately and talked to Chris. Told him my wife’s in town two weeks I need this piece for her. Then called back to tell him I actually needed it in a week. Great service & courtesy even if you are just getting a watch battery replaced. We've been there three times for minor purchases and we're treated well. I understand it can be intimidating as there are beautiful, expensive items. But you need not be. I also love it is a locally owned business with local employees.

The place is so beautiful and clean. While there were many crosses, the staff took time to ask me specifically what I truly desired. I have nothing but good things to say about Mitchum Jewelers. Don't be intimidated because it's a fine jewelry store with high-end merchandise. You will be treated with kindness and leave feeling like you've made a friend. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and not just about their own products. Half the people have worked at other establishments in the area, and they now work at Mitchum for a reason--they know how to treat their customers well, and the service is simply unmatched.

I looked all around Springfield for a ring for my soon to be fiance. The more I looked the more education I got about diamonds and the quality of them.
