Making improvements with some renovations. Will be glad when the elevator is back in service. Climbing the stairs to the fourth floor are intense!

Worst experience ever. The lady in the front desk was helpful. They are renovating the hotels. I am not sure why they kept the place open in Hotwire. The lift was not working. They gave us a room in 4th floor. There was no towel, trash bin, fridge even pillow. When we asked for pillow they handover the pillow in the front desk. And homeless people were all over the place. There is no way to understand this from a hotwire booking that this place is like this. They should have taken the listing off from the online booking site saying the hotel is renovating.

Hi my name is Alexander Thompson and staying in room 484 at Olive Tree Hotel and Banquet Halls (5075 Interstate 55 North Frontage Rd, Jackson, MS 39206) and there are a lot of problems with my room like the phone does not work, the TV does not work and there is no remote for the TV, the bathroom floor needs to be cleaned because it is dirty, the bedding and towels in my room are stained and the blanket for the bed is uncomfortable and itchy, there is no Wi-Fi in my room, there is no microwave and no refrigerator in my room, there is strong cigarette smell in the hotel, the shower handles fell off

Affordable accommodations have a month month stay. Had rough start but they solve the problem in a timely manner

Absolutely horrific. I couldn't even get out of my car for fear for my safety. Needs to be shut down immediately. Negative a million stars.

The place doesn't even deserve a star. Went there back in October for Jackson State Homecoming. Check in was at 3 p.m and when we got there and walked it the smell of this place is ridiculous in the lobby. They had a fan going but that only made matters worse. So I proceeded to check in and got my belongings and got to the escalator and only one of them works. So finally got to the floor and the escalator opened up the halls was filled with smoke and it smelled like urine it was just awful. We didn't even bother going to see the room at all. We simply went back down stairs and got our refund and

This was clearly an experience of great disappointment. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient with information about my stay and answered all my questions with high regard. But my disappointment lies with the housekeeping staff. The room smelled of urine, was occupied with roaches and flying insects. The bed linen had cigarette burns and no pillow cases. If I didn’t pack appropriately I would of never had a way to clean myself. The only thing provided was tissue and a hairdryer attached to the wall. This hotel didn’t even deserve 1 star!!
This place should not be in operation. My room was a disaster!! When I entered my room (after walking 5 flights of stairs because the elevators didn’t work), I was scared by a cockroach on the wall by the broken light switch. Additionally, there was no TV, fridge, shower curtain or towel. There was dried blood on my blanket, and the wardrobe had food and trash shin high!!
They would not give me a refund…even after the disgusting state the room was in.

Didn’t even stay. Hotel (if you can even call it that, looks like a big trap house) is run into the ground, the pictures online have to be when it first opened, & based on the condition I’m guessing that was 20 years ago. They gave another customer & myself keys to occupied rooms multiple times. Didn’t get a refund. This place didn’t feel safe the second I parked.

Considering the situation, knowing that they’re remodeling,& barely have enough staff to run the place most less renovate at the same time. This place is at the moment the best in Jackson! They have the lowest rates and the most professional staff in town!! It’s always room for improvement but at the moment, they are the best this side of town has to offer!!!
