Your first visit with us involves a comprehensive exam, as well as necessary x-rays.
While there are some individuals who experience "dental phobia" to the point where they sacrifice their oral health by choosing not to visit the dentist, there may be very little for them to fear. Modern dental techniques have reduced pain to a level you wouldn't even notice. Plus, a relaxing and comforting environment from skilled dentists has been shown to ease fears when patients know they're in the best of hands.

I have already has the pleasure of seeing Dr. Van Houten who was covering for Dr. Kharin during a recent unexpected dental emergency. She is as professional and wonderful as the rest of the staff at Dentistry by Design. I was experiencing some unexpected tooth pain while away for the week this past summer. They squeezed me in for an appointment with Dr. Kharin. As I was making the hour and a half drive down, I thought “you know it’s a REALLY GOOD dentist when you not only don’t mind driving down from your vacation to the dentist but you are actually excited to see the dentist and his staff

Before visiting Dentistry by Design, I was afraid of any type of dental work. Because of this fear, I had not been to a dentist in 13 years. When I arrived at the office, I was greated with a warm smile from Dottie at the front desk. On my first visit I saw Aneesa, the Detal Hygenist, who cleaned my teeth. I love this family dentistry practice. Dot at the front desk is sweet, professional, and competent. My hygienist, Jaqueline, is thorough and gentle, and she gives me a lot of useful tips on how to keep up with my home care, and Dr. Papapetros is talented, efficient, and careful. The office offers general treatment, early dental care, and cosmetic dentistry. The practice uses the newest technology, and they never cut corners to save time or money.
One of my favorite perks is that you can schedule and confirm appointments online! This practice fits into my life. I couldn't be more pleased
