Your body cannot change without your mind's consent - and your mind cannot change without the aid of your body. But implementing plans without considering feelings can lead you down a dark road and into a desolate wilderness. We are dedicated to helping you conquer life's challenges and become you're fullest, most authentic, self.

We consider all of your interrelated facets - biological, emotional, cognitive, relational, cultural and spiritual - as essential to your overall wellness. Together with you, we will create a plan of action that addresses each of these areas, speaks to your specific needs and will set you on coarse to achieve your goals.

Unfortunately, the questions tend to come from the experience of hurt - whether a mild twinge of discomfort, or the relentless ache of chronic emotional pain. When you call, we will answer (between 8 AM and 5pm) - otherwise, we will get back to you by the next business day. When we connect, our first priority is scheduling a time for you to speak to a therapist - a 15-minute consultation to see if we can offer help.
At a fairly young age (2 or 3), boys realize they are different from their mothers and start to look to - and rely upon - the parent who is more like them: their fathers. You might say that boys grow away from - or out of - the relationship with their mothers (towards dad). It's a trajectory that determines how boys relate to women, to themselves, and to their feelings - and it starts with a sense of difference.
It's hard to know what warrants "going into therapy" - what problems are "therapy worthy." Having someone to bounce your thoughts off of, validate your feelings, and also challenge you to explore and understand where they come from, is invaluable. Individual psychotherapy sessions last 50 minutes and involve one-on-one conversations with a therapist.

Your body may have become a source of pain and discomfort, rather than the nourishing home that it's meant to be. Old solutions don't seem to be working the way they used to. Personal growth feels stymied and and you're eager to try something different - something new - that can help you feel better.
You've heard about all of the amazing benefits of meditation, but the how - how do you do it? You've heard all about how meditation has been scientifically proven to lessen anxiety, depression, chronic pain. Friends who are more spiritually-oriented may tell you all about the sense of peace they've derived, their increased confidence and deeper connection to their highest self and wisdom.
