I was able to book an appointment, same day, in 20 minutes. I had my previous gel pedicure removed and received a pedicure. Service was good, quick, and straightforward. I got regular paint and mai did a great job painting with base and top coat. I went to the beach the next day and the polish stayed on perfectly. Nails were filed evenly and scrubbed gently. Which was a place for me since another nail salon cut my big toe and it was cracked and bleeding for months. I’ll definitely be back. Happy I found a spot upcountry.

My daughter and I went here for the first time on 3/10/21 it is now 3/20/21 and our gel nails and gel toes are coming off. They are chipped and lifting. Hair is getting stuck underneath them. We also both got pedicures with gel polish. I received the full pedicure treatment my daughter only got the water and a trim no massage or anything. Our total was 160. Totally not worth it. I do Not recommend this place. Also only one person working. She had to multitask and we didn't feel relaxed at all. This salon is just okay. The color selection is limited. Mai is nice, but not always honest. She told me that my gel color could only be filed off, not soaked off, due to the kind of gel polish it was. This is interesting since it was applied by another local salon (far superior to Mai's) who also successfully soaks it off every time. To "prove" her idea, Mai soaked for five minutes (needs at least ten minutes) then filed all the polish off. As a result, my nails were left thinner and weaker than if they had been soaked off as I requested. Other than that, she is a nice person. Still

I would rate this no stars at all. I went there a week ago or so with friends and it was very rushed, sloppy, over priced and unprofessional. The woman there promised us all kinds of things like, they won't hurt, lasts for 2-3 months ad so on. After we went home we looked at our nails and found out that all of our nails were not fully covered and the sides of our nails were pretty naked. Our nails were also not filed and painted evenly. Many of my friends have ripped off the nails after a week because they were turning a light brown color. It was a BIG waste of money. And when we called back to

This is the best nail salon on Maui by far! And I've done my homework! I've been on Maui for 17 years and have been to almost every nail salon on island. Finding Mai, her beautiful salon and someone with her skill set and Aloha is a dream come true! Even if you don't live upcountry it's worth the drive up !

I just got my nails done at Mai's and she's a treasure of a woman! Such wonderful conversation, so patient and friendly. Huge selection of colors both regular and gel, super clean and pleasant salon and very reasonably priced. Hands down the best manicure I've had on Maui, so neat and even, can't wait to be back!
