My husband and I got married in college so we were on a tight budget. State Farm provided us with the cheapest auto insurance quote, so we went with them. A few days later, I noticed a withdraw from my bank account that was a considerably higher amount than what we were quoted and signed onto. I called the office and Kristen was conveniently on vacation and no one could help me. The day before my wedding I was on the phone with some lady trying to figure out why our premium increased by so much, and more importantly, why no one notified me. After I moved from VA to TX I needed to find local State Farm agent. My former agent recommended Kristin and so I contacted her. After several days of waiting I was finally given a quote that was $150 higher than I was paying in VA. I was shocked to says the least. She then went to explain how TX rates are higher than in VA. I get that, but what on Earth can justify $150 hike?! I decided to continue my search and found a very nice State Farm agent who handled my request perfectly. I got my TX policy for only $25 higher that I used to pay.
