I've been to several Indian restaurants in the area, and my experience has been very hit or miss with Indian cuisine in general. Cafe Bombay delivered the goods. I had the Mango Chicken (dinner), and let's just say this was one of those meals where you have to scrape every last bit off your plate. It was that good!

The food here was just okay. I tried this place for second time thinking it might be good experience for me this time but that wasn’t the case. The Punjabi aaloo chat was too sour that upset my stomach after I reached home. The bullet and garlic naans were good and so was goat vindaloo curry but the goat pieces were undercooked, we couldn’t break them and they were too chewy.

For lunch I ordered the butter chicken, goat biryani, Bombay mixed grill, palak paneer, garlic naan, and gulab jamun. This was my first time eating authentic Indian food. Believe me when I say that the food was delicious. I enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Bombay mixed grill. All of the meats tasted great. I will definitely try this restaurant again and I highly recommend it.

Pretty good find that my local friend recommended! If you like good Indian food, great service, and a nice setting, you'll enjoy Cafe Bombay.
Came here for dinner on Saturday night and it was pretty quiet and empty around 6:30 pm (that changed as the night went on). I was led to the back dining room, which looks quite grand and spacious. The waiter let me choose any table I wanted.
The menu is pretty big and the prices are super reasonable! I ordered the chicken tikka masala ($11) medium spicy with a side of garlic naan, while my friend got the chicken vindaloo. Flavors were great and

I enjoyed the food here. Ordered Uber eats.. The mixed grill was flavorful and the green sauce went well with it. For a heft $18 I did wish it came with 2 or 3 naans. The rasmalai cheesecake was interesting, creative and tasty. Kinda like the Indian version of tiramisu or tres leches cake. Very delicious and sweet. Might not be great for you if you can't or shouldn't be eating too much sweets.

We ordered pani puri and chicken tikka with garlic naan. The tikka was delicious. I requested for a tamarind chutney with the tikka.
Pani puri was okay. It was more mint and green chili than tamarind. I have had better pani puris to be honest.
We also ordered tea which is a must try.
Service was fast and good. Overall everything was clean and nice. Would definitely visit in the future.

This has become our staple for takeaway Indian food and sometimes dining as well. Their butter chicken and chicken tikka masala is always really good. Not too spicy and really packed with flavor and the chicken always tastes fresh. The tandoori wings are definitely a specialty and really huge quantity, we always get that!
The inside decor is also nice. Not extra fancy but good enough to enjoy a meal with family, friends or a date. The servers are also nice and I've heard them give good suggestions to people trying new dishes for the first time. The pricing is what really works for me. I live

Finally tried this place after months of trying and failing to make it out here. I'm disappointed that they're not doing the buffet anymore. Covid has ruined so much!
I ordered the chicken korma and garlic naan. My friend ordered the vegetable masala and some other dish I can't recall the exact name but it was lamb. Tbh, I wasn't overly impressed but it was good and I would order from this place again. I'd like to try some of the other dishes. The naan was pretty tasty but not as thick as I like it. It was very thin. Eating the chicken dish with rice and naan did fill

I remember my sister brought me here back in 2016 when I came to Atlanta to visit. It was such a great experience with the belly dancers, dim lighting and authentic spicy Indian food! Since it was so long ago and I was living in Michigan, I had completely forgotten about it until recently when I moved here. Once she told me the name, I HAD to get some food and try to relive the deliciousness! Unfortunately I couldn't dine in due to the pandemic, so I ordered delivery through Ubereats. We ordered: vegetable samosas, mango lassi, garlic naan, lamb (gosht) vindaloo, and chicken tikka masala.

Ok....not really fair to share these photos because they don't do the food justice ...the restaurant looked lovely, but due to covid we are only doing take out. Palak paneer was scrumptious. Massive amount of yummy rice on the side. Naans were tender and warm. Tikka masala fragrant. Sauce for vegetarian appetizer assortment very good. All appetizers on assortment crisp and cooked to perfection. Because I didn't specify on the online order we got a pleasantly mild level of spice. Better ask for none if that is your thing. $42 for more food than we could possibly eat. Should have split a main between

This is a gem in the Briarcliff area for anyone that loves Indian food or wants to try something new.
Parking is easy and plentiful. Staff is a bit quiet and can seem a bit cold, but they mean well and are very professional.
I love all the food they put out on the buffet. I love trying new dishes when they come out, but definitely have some go-to favorites everytime I come here. For example, the tikka masala; always a crowd pleaser and the flavors of the masala here are great.
Now, aside from the main entrées, I'd like to take a second to spotlight one of the dessert dish combos here

Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly Review: On the recommendation of my co-worker, we decided to give Cafe Bombay a try. We have gone twice and loved the North Indian Punjabi Cuisine! We have yet to try the buffet but will on our next visit. I have gone with the Chole Peshawari (Chickpeas with spiced curry) and chickpeas with spinach. The Naan is incredible, customer service top notch, and my wife has enjoyed her meat entrees of chicken, lamb, and shrimp. Cafe Bombay's Basmati rice is so flavorful and spicy without being overbearing. I am glad my co-worker told me about this place as it is right down
