After meeting with a few other builders and not feeling like they were a good fit for us, we met with John Michael Homes and instantly knew they were the builder for us. Andy and Angie listened to what we were looking for while keeping us within the budget we had. They were more than willing to work with us on a custom design for our country lot which seemed to be a deal breaker for other builders. They use a system called Buildertrend which allowed us to see multiple items such as estimates, costs, building pictures, a schedule outline and a message board to discuss items as they arose. We met with Andy before we found land to build on. He was extremely patient and helped us get the most out of our budget. Having built before, we had very specific ideas on what we wanted. The last thing we wanted was a cookie-cutter house. Andy was very good at explaining how each decision we made would impact our overall results. He would tell us we could do anything we wanted to, but then help us understand trends, functionalities, and trade-offs.
