Services
After working the past 20 years as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of healthcare settings from hospital based rehabilitation clinics to home care service, I became interested in approaching healing from a different perspective in order to help people become empowered about their health on all levels.
Originally from Maryland, I am happy to call New Fairfield my home. I have one son living here in CT and one still residing in MD. I was employed for nearly 20 years in various positions at Green Chimneys School in Brewster, NY. While there, I divided my years between being a Speech and Language Tutor, to High School Science Teacher Assistant to Teacher Assistant in a classroom for children with Autism.
Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being.
According to Chinese medical theory, the symptoms and signs that indicate a Western diagnosis of allergies relate to imbalances in the meridian and Organ Systems of the body. These imbalances may stem from a variety of causes, including stress, poor diet, constitutional weakness, pollutants and environmental toxins.
Acupuncture has been employed as a health care modality for over 5,000 years. Modern science has begun to understand the secrets of this ancient medicine with the support of new studies conducted by leading scientists, hospitals and medical research facilities from all over the world. Today, acupuncture is receiving wide acceptance as a respected, valid and effective form of health care.

I’ve been around the world for acupuncture and I only needed to come close.to home in New Fairfield, CT. Trish is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever been to. Her knowledge of the muscle groups and how they affect each other is incredible. She somehow zeros in on exactly what is needed, even if you didn’t know yourself. She’s gentle and caring and loves what she does. I look forward to every appointment because I know I will feel better and resolve things that have been bothering my body for years.

Trish is amazing. I have been seeing her for about 7 months and she has been able to help me so much with a lot of respiratory issues I was having (as well as some back pain). She has a deep understanding of the practice of acupuncture as well as other alternative healing modalities and is truly unparalleled in her field. Amazing experience! I now have increased energy, less pain, and an overall sense of well being. My acupuncturist takes the time to evaluate my condition/history and treats appropriately. I'm constantly amazed by the process/results. I've tried acupuncture in the past, and there is no comparison to my level of improvement.
