We have a firm belief that we will only grow if we work together. Our collaborative culture extends to all our stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry peers.
One of the greatest feelings is waking up in the morning and looking forward to work. I love my job, thanks to this amazing family-owned company, as well as my colleagues, who I now consider family. Coming from a larger, publicly-held company, I can attest to the family atmosphere the Great Lakes Cheese environment brings to the table.
Currently, Great Lakes Cheese serves the nation's retailers and foodservice operations with eight facilities across the U.S. Great Lakes services four markets: Retail, Foodservice, Co-Manufacturing, and Ingredients. Today we offer thousands of quality products. When we go to work, we have one goal: To make your business the best it can be.

For the truckers. When arriving to facility park on any of the designated lanes to the immediate left for shipping. For receiving, you have to continue on Great Lakes Parkway for about 1/6 th of a mile. Check-in at the office indicated as "drivers lounge" to the left of the main entrance. Fill up necessary information and make sure to have your CDL ready. You will get a door assigned, and just keep an eye out. Make sure to slide tandems to the rear and keep temperatures set at 34°F. Once docked, light will go from green to red to green again. Then proceed to office to acquire paperwork. The environment

Park/ stage from the main entrance and walk a good 300to 400 feet to the shipping office. A PO number and an ID will be required to sign in. Docks are scattered around the huge facility. It's a very spacious place that does not allow parking. Docks are manoeuverble and well numbered. Loading is awfully slow ( 4 plus hours in my case ) Very nice signs all around to guide you expect the one leading to the shipping office. Staff is courteous and helpful

Park in the parking spaces in the driveway and walk up to check-in. Either go to your dock or wait in your truck until called. Move tandems to the rear on the pavement NOT the blacktop. When the light turns green, go back inside to get your bills.
I got there 16-18 hours early and they had me in a door within 10 minutes and I was loaded within an hour and a half. The restaurant next door will deliver to your truck.
