Food is good and deserves a 3.75 rating Service not so much. Staff seems disgruntled and not very welcoming. Id give the service 2.5 stars. In my book life's too short for that...just sayin'...maybe ill try when covid subsides and hiring quality people is a bit easier. Until then good luck to the owners.

Nothing bad to say about this place- I got take out and came in and my food was ready. They also threw in a free cobb salad, which was bomb. I got the spicy pasta and while I will say I don't think it was actually spicy by my standards, the meat and sauce were good. The potato soup was massive and really good as well. Friendly service!

Excellent food and service. BYOB. Nice outdoor seating option. Our table of four had a lovely 80th birthday celebration. Easy parking.

When calling up to find out if we could have our wedding rehearsal dinner here, Vinny, the owner was a pleasure to deal with. He was very accommodating and gave us a fair price to help meet our budget. The food was terrific and they have a great tented outdoor seating area for anyone that feels more comfortable eating outside due to Covid. We would definitely recommend Osteria Trevi and would love to eat there again in the future.

We decided to celebrate our anniversary here and we were not disappointed. The service was good but the food was fantastic. We will be going back to try some of the staples. We had two of the specials and were not disappointed. The desserts are also worth trying.

EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT service. Our new favorite Italian restaurant. The Caesar salad, Raspberry Duck and seafood pasta dishes were incredible. All so flavorful. Highly recommend this restaurant. You will leave very happy and satisfied.

Still Fantastic! A family favorite, we all love their food! Covid has not changed their excellent food or service. They do a great job with takeout too! The eggplant parmesan is the best I have ever had anywhere! But honestly we have eaten from every category on the menu and have never been disappointed. The meatballs, seafood, duck, lamb, pasta are all excellent! Well prepared healthy choices not dripping in oil and just the right amount of garlic and seasoning.

The food and staff are always amazing here! Even during covid, the food is still amazing and I am hoping they last through this pandemic! Some of my favorite dishes are the meatballs, mussels, burrata, lamb chops, cacio e pepe, branzino, and salmon. I would defin recommend trying this restaurant if you are in the area!

This was first time going here. Went for lunch. Was quiet and nice atmosphere. The food is good but we felt the wedge salad and the penne were both over sauced. That took away from the flavor.

Excellent place to dine! I had the pleasure and was extremely happy with the service and food. They are a real classic Italian restaurant vibe, starts with a very warm welcome , moves quickly to the sensory delights of the menu and ends with coffee and a mildly hefty bill. All is well worth it , I'd come back in less than a month and that says a lot because I like discovering new places I'd say it is more slightly upscale European or metro vibe. I would go for low key dressy or business attire. Outside dining looks is well set up with high and very strong tenting and heating.

We've dined in at Osteria Trevi a couple of times before the pandemic. It's always been fantastic. We've really missed it.
Last night (Jan 2021) we did our first pickup order and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The ragu, the cacio e pepe, the meatballs yum yum yum. I can't recommend enough!

We are new to Madison, and while there appears to be a lot of great Italian food in town, in my opinion this restaurant has the edge over all the rest.
The meatballs are great (everything they are made out to be), the entrees are fresh & interesting, and the service is on point. Overall really good Italian meal and would highly recommend.

What can I say about our outside dinner experience in the parking lot at Osteria Trevi - wonderful!
Last night we had a table for two, great appetizers and an awesome dinner. Wait staff was great and attentive. A true find in our backyard.

Pasta wow started and ended our meal with a very good filet mignone....my friend is from the same region of italy so we started with a small portion of home made pasta from his region and ended with a pasta from the region near Roma....both amazing ....i did not have dessert but others did and love it.....will go back for sure

We had been very good and frequent customers of trevi. That being said, there seems to be a large portion of their business coming down from Bergen County, where the owners had a previous successful restaurant. These people seem to garner all the attention of the staff.

I wanted to take my wife out for our anniversary, and was lucky enough to get a reservation at trevi.

We started by having the salad off the specials menu, which was very good but we had it split, to which there was a charge for.

I went here for the first time with a good friend of mine who frequents this restaurant often. The first great thing about this restaurant is they have their own parking lot which is really great since it is hard to find public parking in Madison. The Decour of the restaurant was very pleasant and clean. The menu was eclectic, the specials were exciting and the owner stopped p by our table to tell us that if we didn't see something on the menu they would be happy to accommodate us anyway that they could. Disappointed to say the least.
After reading several reviews about how great everything was about this place, we were excited to go here.
On a Wednesday night, when no one was in there, at 5:15pm, they asked us if we had reservations and had to check the list...this should have been a sign for me to B line out of there. It gave me a bad taste in my mouth to begin...and surprisingly my wife too (she gives every experience the benefit of the doubt). I get that there may be reservations but buddy, it's empty and you just opened. We were seated and they hastily dropped off menu's. The

The food was unbelievable. truly. I had zucchini flowers, pasta prepared I a cheese wheel, European sea bass, tried my wife's lemon soul...all was exquisite.

Food good - Service good if you're a regular

Food was good. We enjoyed our meal. Started with their meatball appetizer which was very good. We also had the eggplant parmigiana, also very good. The linguine and white clam was good but there was some spice or wine or something in the broth that gave it a sweet type of taste that I didn't love. The sole francese seemed a little thick to be sole but that's what it said. Sauce was good on it except for the scallions.
The service was not the friendliest and seemed disorganized as empty plates piled up on our table. No one waiter

Thanks to all the solid Yelp reviews and recommendation by my colleague, I chose Osteria Trevi for a business lunch with large party in Madison. I was pleasantly delighted with one of our best dining experiences. Owner and wait staff were helpful and accommodating with vegetarian requests from our guests. We had a large spread of appetizers and lunch entrees. bruschetta and eggplant Parm apps were remarkable. For the main entree i tried their classic pasta with marinara sauce and it was good.
