I couldn’t even get a nurse to pick up the phone after my father passed. I could hear her screaming to the assistant, who seemed terrified and should not have been put in such a position, “no - don’t give me the phone… I don’t know anything.”
Seriously? I understand there are privacy laws and such but how about a little compassion given the fact my father passed away about an hour before. Would it be awful to A) not scream at her support staff and B) take 2 min to compassionately tell me that? Unacceptable. As a facility and human being.

I love working here.just to be a part of the residents life is so wonderful. Just seeing the smiles on there faces is wonderful and when they are not smiling i ask whats wrong and to try to make them smile is my job but sometimes that might not work but all i can do is try.ill be there for them no matter what.
