Well let me start off where it all began. I ordered my new garage door and garage door opener in January of 2021. I was quoted 8 weeks till the door would be installed. Then the nightmares started. First Mary called in early March saying the door was in and they were ready to install so we set a date for a few days later only to get a late night text from Mary starting the door had not come in and they would have to wait to reschedule. Then the next week Mary called again to say the door was in and set a install date a few days later. Well a few days later Mary calls and says the door

Long story short- Precision quoted us over the phone a few hundred to fix our torque master spring on the garage door. Guy came out, said he couldn't fix and he'd have to convert and it would be $800. I understand it's a dated crappy system and we wouldn't have had a problem converting if they gave us an honest price.
Had another company come out and charged us $280 to convert the system. Saved us over $500 and I'm so glad we refused to do business with Precision. I don't want to name the other company here, but if you search other garage door companies in the area

Tried to have my door serviced under their lifetime warranty. Even though their website indicates otherwise, I discovered they don't service the Peninsula and therefore the warranty is worthless. Don't buy from these people. You're wasting your money. They think they can change the rules whenever they want.

The spring on my 5-yr old Virginia Door garage broke, and they couldn't fix it until after Thanksgiving. We called Precision Garage Door and they responded the same day. Rob Shrieves, a senior technician, provided outstanding customer service and did a superb job repairing the door. He constructed a superior garage door spring by hand, installed it in short order, replaced the cables and rollers, cleaned all of the hinges, and adjusted the garage door opener. Our garage door wouldn't open using the garage door opener installed by Precision less than 2 years ago. Our home warranty company dispatched AHS to fix it. When the Precision technician came, he didn't even get a ladder and look at the motor. He said the motor wasn't strong even for the weight of my heavy door. Precision recommenced and installed the motor I have less than 2 years before.
The technician only was interested in selling me a door for $2200 or rebuilding my door for $900. I asked if the motor could be defective and he said he has never seen a defective Linear motor

I called to get my lift master garage door wall button fixed. The Tech Chris showed up to address the issue within the hour. After about 20 mins into the inspection there were some additional issues with the garage door. At the end of the day there seemed to be some miscommunication from the lady I spoke with on the phone about my issue. Chris could tell I was frustrated and let me speak to his manager Garth about the situation. I can't tell you how satisfied I am with my issues being resolved. Chris remained calm and professional while I spoke with his manager and Garth talked us both through

They responded to my request for a quote within two hours. They gave a fair and clear estimate. Once the garage door was in their facility, they scheduled the installation quickly. A Precision technician came out. We requested help in fixing our broken garage door opener. Technician claimed it and our door were shot. Would not quote us on opener, but only garage door with new opener. Quoted $1500 to $2100. He said our garage door was too old and shot. Truthfully, the garage door is 39 years old. But I believed his claim that it was shot untrue.
I chose to get a 2nd opinion. He fixed the opener and replaced some garage door rollers and it works fine. The total cost was $350. I asked the price of a new door. This company said $850 including labor.
End result, I would not recommend
