ALDO TROVATO, M.D. became board certified in dermatology and dermatologic surgery in 1995. Dr. Trovato received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from St. John's University. He graduated top in his class. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

An internal medicine internship followed at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. Dr, Trovato returned to the Medical College of Wisconsin to complete his dermatology residency. During residency, Dr. Trovato trained in Sao Paulo, Brazil, studying tropical dermatologic diseases. Dr. Trovato then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.

I have been a patient of Dr. Trovato for several years. I've always been able to get same day or next day appointments. Dr. Trovato, his wife, and staff are amazing! He takes his time with each patient to make sure you get the care you need.

Dr. Travato is in practice to serve his patients. Nothing fancy at this office. Just nice office staff and a brilliant Doctor that listens and then uses his vast knowledge and experience to fit his service to your needs.

I had been a patient of Dr. Trovato for 6 years with Blue Cross / Blue Shield insurance. When I called to make an appointment for my yearly check back after I turned 65 and had Medicare insurance, he said he would not honor Medicare insurance. I asked him if this applied to patients who had been established with him for years. He replied "yes." I immediately changed dermatologists and have been much more pleased with my new doctor.
