The type of funeral service is one of these most important and individual elements, and we proudly offer a full array of traditional burial and cremation service options.
The death of a loved one carries emotional significance, requiring survivors to say goodbye to a valued family member or friend as well as to carry out his or her wishes for their funeral or to plan some or all of their funeral (depending on whether the deceased pre-planned his or her services before death).
Pre-planning your funeral service can provide many benefits, including allowing the survivors and the party whose funeral will be held to develop a memorial that will honor the wishes of the deceased and provide comfort to his or her remaining loved ones.
It can also reduce stress on survivors, who have the knowledge that the funeral arrangements have been made and that the value of their purchase is protected by the security of a state of Iowa guaranteed contract. To begin your funeral pre-planning, contact the staff at Parrott & Wood today. The funeral service is a time for mourning and comfort for the deceased's survivors.

This is a tough review to write because planning a funeral is such an emotional experience. I am extremely pleased with the compassion and care we received from Parrott & Wood. When we started planning, Christine presented each option starting with the lowest cost first. When we found the plan that fit our needs she didn't pressure for a single upgrade. The facility is beautiful and the staff was on top of everything during the visitation. From reminders to take a break and drink water, making sure visitors who needed extra assistance were taken care of and giving the family space when we found

Stay far far away. Hidden charges, lack of communication, unresponsive staff, worst experience of my life. Pre planning package resulted in double the costs after the death. I personally feel this place is a border line scam operation. Stay far far away, when dealing with the death of a loved one these are not the type of people you need "helping" you out.
