We began business in 1971 as Mountain Realty Incorporated, after having done business under name of Hiawassee Land Company with partners Hal Herrin & Ernie Dowdy for a short time prior. The sales agents were licensed in GA & NC, and even at one time an agent was licensed in Tennessee also. Hal Herrin was Principal Broker until he sold business to Carmolita Haney in 1989.

We stopped in to ask a few questions about the area as we are interested in retiring here. Even though we are a few years away from making the decision to buy Brenda Jackson sat down with us and told us about the different areas. She took in our wish list and gave us printouts of current homes available and mapping so we could see the area and get an idea of maybe where to narrow our future search down to. Very polite with zero pressure. If your in the market I highly recommend these folks.
