Antonian was established in 1964 by the Archdiocese of San Antonio with the support of the pastors from twelve northside parishes and was originally staffed by the Brothers of the Christian Schools.
Antonian retains many of the innovative practices attributed to St. John Baptiste De La Salle, including the integration of religious instruction with academic subjects, well-prepared teachers with a sense of vocation and mission, and the involvement of parents.Originally a school for boys, Antonian transitioned to being a co-educational school in 1989.

The mission of Antonian College Preparatory High School is to inspire and empower young men and women to thrive while leading meaningful lives rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Influenced by our LaSallian legacy and animated by our desire to see God in all things, Antonian College Preparatory will continue to be a premier Catholic, co-educational high school.
SCHOOL CALENDAR: In order to maintain all the activities taking place on our busy campus we have one main school calendar on our home web page. This calendar encompasses all the important school, athletic, and extracurricular activities. You will have the opportunity to sync it via iCal, Outlook 2007+, Google Calendar, or download it for print.

To best be able to discern whether Antonian is the right school for your family, Antonian offers different ways for candidate families to learn more about the school. We encourage all prospective families to attend an admissions event to experience our commitment to academic excellence, the formation of young men and women of outstanding competence, character, and conscience.
Each year, Antonian host middle school students and their families on campus for our Middle School Tailgate. This event is free for families. Students and their families are invited for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and football. This year, we will be offering school tours prior to the tailgate starting.
