Go to the carrier directly and don't use Southwest Insurance Center. They will require that you jump through hoops to make changes like removing or adding vehicles to your policy. We were with them for over 17 yrs and have seen the service drop drastically. We asked Shauncy to remove a vehicle we sold from our policy...she assured me that she did it, then I discovered we were still praying for it 6 months later. Fast forward to our new car and called asked to add our new car and was told she could only add it if I sent her extra info via email and was unable to do with simple phone call so I hung

I needed to cancel a policy because we sold the house. I left a voicemail after hours one day because my schedule is crazy. It is hard to call during business hours. Shawncy got everything I needed to me through email very quickly and we were able to handle everything online on my time which was AWESOME! Ridiculously good customer service. Nicest people ever, but extremely competitive as well. When I got a USAA quote for what appeared to be much better rate, they walked me through the important converages that were missing from the USAA quote. It was missing Uninsured Motorist! No Texas driver should ever have a policy without it. Love these guys

Well, as a senior, I am always looking for a better deal. I have been a client of Southwest Ins. Company for many years, and recently requested a quote on my insurance policies to see if I couldn't do better. Phillip bent over backwards to send me various quotes and Shawna was probably tired of sending me various quotes and answering my many phone calls. In the end, I decided to stay with them. After reviewing quotes from many companies, the small savings was not worth changing companies that I have done business with for years.

So HELPFUL! The whole office is very nice and a pleasure to work with. They are always straight forward and go the extra mile to help me save money. I have been very pleased with having my auto through them for 8 years now. They always answer when you call and respond to emails quick with whatever answer it is you need! Mary is awesome! I live in Lubbock and they make it simple for me to go through them all the way from Austin! Distance has never been an issue and they have given me rates on my auto coverage $100-200 lower then quotes I have gotten from other providers.
