Port Washington Teachers Federal Credit Union is a group of people sharing a common bond that qualifies them and their families for membership. This common bond holds Credit Union members together and enables them to help their co-members by pooling their financial resources. Membership has many advantages.
You can save or borrow or do both. It is a non-profit organization BY and FOR the members. Each member has one vote without regard to the size of their account and there are no stockholders with claims to any profit. Funds supplied by the savers are used to grant loans to other members. Investments and interest on loans are the only source of income to the Credit Union.
