Miami-Dade County Public Schools has changed their face covering policy to a parental opt out policy for Middle School and High School students enrolled in traditional schools. Krop Senior High School will be participating in a daily moment of silence in accordance with a bill recently passed by the Florida Legislature.

Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School is located on a 40-acre campus along the Broward County line in northeastern Miami-Dade County, making it the northernmost high school in Miami-Dade. Its faculty and staff are dedicated to educating students in a safe, nurturing, rigorous environment, empowering them to excel academically, artistically, and athletically.
The STAR Academy is a unique and personalized Visual and Performing Arts program that combines a specialized curriculum with rigorous academic instruction. The STAR Academy offers five strands of specialization: Chorus, Dance, Band/Orchestra, Theatre and Visual Arts. Admission to the STAR Academy is based upon a highly competitive audition process that is open to all Miami-Dade County students entering grades 9 through 12.
What is NJROTC? The Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program is conducted at accredited secondary schools throughout the nation, by retired officers and enlisted personnel instructors from the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Classroom instruction is augmented throughout the year by community service activities, drill competition, field meets, orientation visits to naval facilities, and other military training.

Mrs. Bernadette Pierre, my daughter’s magnet dance teacher, is an excellent teacher. I had to take the time to get to know her because initially I wasn’t always happy with her. However, after overhearing some of her interactions during virtual school and watching my daughter’s development, I must admit that I’m very pleased. Dr. Michael Krop Senior High is the school of choice for dance in Miami. Mrs. Pierre doesn’t only teach dance. She treats her students with love and respect. Students have a voice in her class. She also helps her students develop leadership skills.

This school was once a good school,
right now it's a DISASTER!
From the person who attends the entrance, the people who work in the office and not to mention some teachers that the students have to be behind them since they give them absences when they are not, they do not give them the grades ... etc.

Whoever is saying this school is bad and has drugs and fights they are lying. There is actually nothing bad going on here teachers actually care about you. Kids here are nice and there is no bullying actually. All of u who is saying bad stuff about the school it is because you probably had some problem with a teacher or something like that.

Whoever is saying this school is bad ya'll should go. This school got alot stricter there aren't selling of drugs or fights. This school is pretty good better than most of the other schools in dade. The education is actually really good. The bad reviews are from people that just want to mess with the people reading them.

Coach Krista is the bomb... Great coaching staff, my daughter love the school but I had it rough time with the math teacher, she just wasn't getting his teaching style... Thank God there was some students that help out with some of it. If it wasn't for me moving she would still be there..Didn't heard of many fights from daughter she usually told me if it was...

Where to start. This school is down right the worst place to put your child. From the main office, the lady there is extremely rude and disrespectful to both students and parents. Then there's the teachers, what a bunch of nasty, sarcastic people. Especially Sullivan and Lesperance. No idea why they are qualified to be teachers.
