After a 20 year career in marketing and advertising in Boston and New York, Peggy decided to leave corporate America behind to pursue her passion for cooking & entertaining. She began training with a Culinary Institute of America Certified Chef and completed a classic culinary curriculum ranging from food safety to making the perfect beurre blanc.
Since 2003, we have been catering weddings for 40 to 400 guests at breathtaking locations from Boston to Bar Harbor. With our passion for food & dedication to detail, we will work with you to create a personalized menu reflecting your story together. We will be there every step of the way from menu tasting to cutting the cake, leaving you with an unforgettable memory shared with family & friends.

Yay Kitchen Chicks! I loved working with Peggy, she was so straightforward, helpful, and easy to get in touch with. Beyond that, Kitchen Chicks was the talk of our reception. We offered lobster in addition to other buffet items and the Kitchen Chicks team really delivered on food that was beautifully presented and delicious. Everything was so elegant and the food got rave reviews. I also appreciated that Peggy worked with us to customize our menu and make it perfect for our event. We even got to select our favorite types of pies! Thank you Kitchen Chicks, it was wonderful.

Hired them for a special night while on vacation in Kennebunk. They helped create a great menu! They showed up on time, and prepared a beautiful dinner. The family thought everything was delicious! They served and cleaned up. An incredibly special treat! We also went into their shoppe in Cape Porpoise - and picked up the prepared foods for other nights! Delicious Delicious! Highly recommend!

I was given the name name of kitchen chicks through a local and I explained I was having a dinner party for 25 in about a months time and needed food, chairs, linens, etc. Peggy explained they were a full service event company and could take care of it. Response times were slow with Peggy and Catie and I had to prompt them to see the menu, then the proposal and then getting info on tents, etc. I was told due to Covid, all of the events from 2020 were now pushed to 2021 and they were busy and tents weren't available. That was a common answer I received from them...They are busy with other

Kitchen Chicks catered our wedding at The Big House in Kennebunk, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our entire evening was delish from start to finish, and we heard myriad comments from our guests saying the same. Furthermore they were really easy to work with and the communication leading up to the event was great. We were very happy our wedding planner recommended them. They really captured the essence of what we wanted our wedding to be, and we are forever grateful!

If it were just the food, this would be 4-5 stars. Kitchen Chicks catered a wedding we just attended. The service was decent, though a couple workers were a little surly with us.
The big issue was the quantity. In 2 of the 3 meals they catered (and the third is yet to happen), they ran out of food. For dinner at the reception, they served the portions at the buffet and they were paltry. When my wife, 36 weeks pregnant, went and asked for more food, the response was "we've already fed you." Everyone I spoke with left at least one of the meal hungry. For what I imagine the cost

Spot on! Hard to get as they are so in demand. They catered a rehearsal dinner at BPYC for our family. Lobster Bake menu was perfect. Service was impeccable and personable. Peggy and Sarah kept the whole event in order and rolling. They are calm and collected. Thanks for helping us for this memorable family event.

Kitchen Chicks owner, Peggy Liversidge came highly recommend, however, this company proved to be a huge disappointment and waste of our time. After at least 3 phone conversations and follow up emails, I had still not received the proposal from Peggy. I did, however, get a lot of excuses from her like, "I'll get back to you tomorrow", "I'm still working on it", "Thank you for patience, you'll receive the proposal shortly" and after 2 weeks had passed since my first inquiry, I finally received it. Located one flight up from street level and on the first floor of the Grand Hotel is the latest location of Kitchen Chicks.
Great spot to grab to go items as well as your daily coffee fix. They have breakfast sandwiches ready to go. There are cookies as well that looked delicious. The breakfast sandwich I had one morning was excellent! Simply egg and cheese on an english muffin. No complaints. I also grabbed a yogurt from the dairy case that contains portions of cheese as well. In the case are prepared items such as meatballs, grilled salmon, salads, other proteins and sides.

Kitchen Chicks Catering catered my wedding and guests are still raving about the food! One guest said it was the best wedding food she had ever had (and she it a bit of a foodie). My husband and I both had the beef tenderloin and it was incredible. The staff is extremely accommodating, my friends love my mashed potato recipe and it is a staple at our gatherings, and Kitchen Chicks agreed to make my recipe for the wedding. It was a little touch at my friends noticed.
