Such a great spot! If you haven't been here you are seriously missing out!!!! The staff is great, the owner Sal is such a cool nice guy and the food is so delicious!! Every time I come here I leave satisfied and stuffed!

I stopped by Cafe Gio the other night and immediately realized it's been way too long! Sal was as hospitable as ever and my favorite waitress Shannon took great care of us as she always does! She keeps it real and is an absolute hoot.
Sal absolutely crushed it as usual. I started with a rice ball (stuffed with bolognese meat sauce) and it was out of this world. I also tried one of his famous garlic knots with chicken parm stuffed inside.. wow.. incredible.
Already feeling like I was on the brink of being stuffed and needing a nap, I ordered an avocado chicken salad and took half of it

Excellent random choice this afternoon, as I was headed for Lidl's on Sunrise Highway, westbound, near Exit 39. At intersection of Hubbard's Path. Hungry, I spotted the understated signs for a ristorante/pizzaria. The sausage and pepper hero was large and tasty. The place is spotless, with a convenient and clean men's room. I strongly recommend cafegio.net

Overall great experience! We moved in down the road and have wanted to try this place out. Went with my parents and everyone got a bunch of different plates. Portions were large, but happy with bringing home lunch for tomorrow. Their house special with chicken broccoli and pasta was really delicious!

Have been dining there for 20 years since in laws live there, recently unbelievably disappointed. $20 for a drink, are they kidding, it's one step above a pizza place. $20 for a cosmopolitan, I pay $14-15 at Insignia and Maninnos which are 4-5 star restaurants. To be charged $20 for drink was robbery, then to make matters worse they added a 20% tip for 3 people. Sometimes for large parties a tip of 18% is placed on bill but 20% for three people. Totally taken advantage of. Will NEVER go there again. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!

I live near by this place and was always curious to try it out. I walked in I was not acknowledge by anyone or greeted and that's okay, I walked to the waiter who was very friendly. I went in for pasta night, the food was good but the portions on the smaller side, and bit overpriced for 3 pasta dishes and 2 slices of pizza. Also I was given just a small piece of bread, nevertheless I will try again in the near future and see what happens.

Went to Gio the other night. I usually get the Monday or Tuesday night special. Well That night the special price went up one dollar. OK no big deal still OK. but Last time I was there a glass of wine with the special was five dollars fifty cents. Well guess what the wine is now ten dollars a glass with the special price doubled for mediocre wine. Now to add injury to insult, they tack on a credit card fee also. OK you want a little more money for wine that's OK but double the price Yikes.. Won't be back. Plenty of other places give coffee and a piece of cake for the same special price

My husband and I came for pasta night - it was such a wonderful dinner and experience! Jill was our server and she was so sweet and genuinely loved her job. We got a rice ball, house salad, and for entrees rigatoni ala vodka and the creamy pesto dish. Wow!! Everything was absolutely delicious, and DO NOT sleep on those garlic knots!! May possibly be the best garlic knots we have ever had. Most definitely will come back, that fresh cannoli can not be beat. Thank you cafe gio for a wonderful date night out!

Went recently for Pasta Night. The service was slow, despite not being filled to capacity when we arrived. I only saw two servers, so perhaps that was the issue. I realize good workers are hard to find these days post Covid . The food was delicious and served hot! Deducted a star for two mistakes on the bill. We had ordered off the special menu,but didn't get charged the special prices.

Cafe Gio has amazing food and service. For starters this place has some of the BEST garlic knots in all of long island, the bread if fluffy and they are generous with butter and garlic for the perfect knot. I ordered pest pasta which was creamy and delicious! The serving size is huge and good enough for two, or for leftovers the next day!! Lastly, we ended the meal with chocolate cake which was very good. The food was great, and the service is EXCELLENT. Our server, Jill, was attentive, personable and you could tell she enjoys her job!

Meatball sliders are great and the pizzettes I was told are enough for only one person but they are more than enough for two to share. Flavors we great on the gourmet pizzas but I would recommend some flavor to your crust...totally bland. If they had some flavor or spices to the crust, it would be phenomenal ( hence the 3 out of 5) Would definitely come back though.

I was lucky enough to get to try cafe gio back in November at an Elite event. I was very impressed with the meal that I had but I was really blown away by their homemade tiramisu. The chef had mentioned that if you order ahead of time, he would make a whole one to go! So, when my sisters graduation rolled around, I knew exactly where I was ordering dessert from. The owner was fast to reply to my request and had it all ready the day of the event! My family literally licked the container clean while raving that it was the BEST tiramisu they have ever had!!! I am already looking forward to the next

The selection of food was seriously something that over exceeded my expectations. I was able to try different types of pasta and their pizza and all were sooo delicious!! My favorite was the garlic knot pizza so cheesy and good. Their pasta bolognese topped with the ricotta was hands down the best pasta I have This night!! The serves was nice and I liked the decor of the restaurant. Definitely would recommend and will definitely be trying it out again.

Such good food! I stopped in with my fiancé to grab a quick meal. He got two specialty slices and I got a chicken roll. DELICIOUS!! Clean, great customer service, and the good was heated quickly. Def recommend this place for my pizza lovers! They also have a dinning area that was packed so I'm assuming their dinner options are great too!
