Pizza Crust

I grew up in the neighborhood and had been going to Mangias since I was a child. As an adult, I found Mangia's pizza to be a bit doughy so I typically order elsewhere UNTIL my parents ordered there recently and it was amazing! I ordered there today because of that and it was doughy...again!
We ordered pepperoni pizza, garlic knots, and a rice ball.
The pizza was very flavorful, had maybe too much sauce because the cheese slid... right... off. So that was a little disappointing but it had a great taste. Also, the dough was thick and had a lot of moisture so it didn't have any crisp to

The quality of the pizza here has gone down - not sure if it's an impact from COVID. The cheese has more of the clumpy texture and just separates and slides right off from the actual pizza. You're pretty much just eating the cheese separately. Some of their other non pizza items are good - spaghetti and meat sauce - very generous on the meat sauce and the pasta is cooked al dente.

I highly recommend going to Mangia Pizza. Everything is always delicious and the owners are some of the nicest people I know. They also give back to our community every chance they get.

We were at Mangia’s in North Babylon on Wednesday for my niece’s 8th birthday dinner. There were 12 of us. Our server was Ashley! She was AMAZING! Attentive, patient and quick! My sister goes here all the time… but it was my first time. It was a great experience and we will definitely be returning. The food was DELICIOUS! penne ala vodka was excellent, meatballs so soft, chicken cutlet and veal cutlet were perfect! Happy to have found a new place!

So many times I have pass by this little shopping mall and never once stopped and tried this place until my BFF mentioned it.
So after going getting our feet done we decided to go to this restaurant. Great decision made.
It was completely empty when we got in. The dinning area had just opened so we were the first to enter the dining area.
The server name was Crystal. Very polite and helpful.
The food was very fresh. Very good I might add.
We started with the sliders which was meatball, eggplant and chicken. Amazing.
I had ziti with meatballs and my friend had chicken parm.

Finally a local pizza place that not only makes awesome pizza and food and to my surprise has Zeppoli’s which unfortunately is a dying tradition...they are spot on and delicious and they put plenty of powder… in the bag on them! Exactly how I remember the zeppoli’s and funnel cakes from carnivals growing up as a kid! I’ll definitely be ordering from here a lot more now! Highly recommended A++ 😋 🍕 🇮🇹

I was craving for penne a la vodka so I turned to yelp for recommendations. I decided to try this place since I read some good reviews about their penne. Im happy that I did because their penne was really good. I also tried their fried calamari and it was very tasty too and not chewy.

Good pizza and nice people the owner John is a nice guy. If you’re looking for great service good pizza good food come to this  place I highly recommend it. I just about go every Sunday

The garlic knots , the Salad dressing, cannoli and his sauce are amazing. I am Italian and don’t eat Italian out because I am always disappointed but not at Mangias. I highly recommend

My wife and I have been enjoying Mangia’s Pizza for over 30 years. Everything on their menu is fresh and the staff always make you feel like you are part of the family. I highly recommend Mangia’s Pizza for all of your occasions small or big. ⭐️💥⭐️💥

Came for my father-in-law's birthday and there were over a dozen of us. We entered through the front door which led to the counter and to the right was the dinning room. We had reservations and were seated immediately once we all arrived. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders, all were soft drinks. Then they gave us some bread , butter and Garlic Bread with Mozzarella - very nice!

For my main course I ordered the Penna Fantastica, Penne pasta with chicken, broccoli, and sun-dried tomatoes in a garlic white wine sauce. It was awesome and a large portion. Could not finish and brought

So I reviewed Mangia several months ago and have ordered many more times since. I really enjoyed the penne alla vodka and their alla vodka chicken roll. This last time I ordered the same chicken roll and it was inedible. It was obviously not fresh and so I was left with no cream sauce but pure oil and grease! The chicken was totally different and absolutely gross. The pizza has been tasting old for the past few months and I am so disappointed!!! Please do better. I am a loyal paying customer and do not deserve what you have been delivering! I may have to go somewhere else!

Their food is so good we used to have it shipped overnight to California! The restaurant is owned by an amazing family who ALL work hard for it's continued success! Their garlic knots are the best I've EVER had!

Best penne allá vodka around !!
They're really good at specialty items !! (Buffalo slices, specialty slices & pinwheels etc)
They usually burn& over cook the pizza (even when you tell them to warm it up lightly!)
They'll be so much better if they didn't over cook their food!! Please read this!! Don't over cook, nobody wants a burn crust so hard it can cut you
I still go here though (I take turns w other locals)

Tried takeout this past Saturday which I called in and picked up. Did this based on good reviews.
Dingy, run-down place and the 3 men there
were not wearing masks or gloves!
Ordered small Fried Zucchini and Eggplant Park with Ziti and asked for extra sauce.
Paid cash and no receipt in bag which was requested.
Zucchini looked great BUT was soggy and salty!
Eggplant was void of 'parm' and all drenched in sauce and salty!
Disgusting and had to throw out!
Called to complain and put on hold and phone hung up on!

New in this part of town , tried this pizzeria, spent $84.09 for a delivery. We ordered a salad no onions, got LOTS of onions, ordered a Veal Parmesan with spaghetti on the side. Spaghetti was overdone and I asked of it Al dente and everything was just dumped into one dish. We also order grilled chicken with penne in à la vodka sauce we got penne with vodka sauce all dumped into one dish , so it was not grilled chicken parmesan it was just one big mess ! How do you serve something like that ? We also order a pizza, which I have had a LOT better . Sorry we ever ordered from them , we will drive

Great Greek salad, I come here a couple times a week now and I am obsessed. I've had the pizza there it is also good. Quick service and everyone is always super nice. Clean bathrooms.

Never had a bad or mediocre meal. Always get a veal dish...it comes with pasta and salad. I can always bring half home; they give you so much. And, the owner and his daughter wait on you. Lasagna is great on Pasta Night...good value as well.

I havent been to this place in over 20 years. I went to North Babylon hs across the street so this place has sentimental value to me. I'm a plain slice kinda guy, bc I love to really taste the pizza. The slice folds over perfectly as it should. Its a thinner slice, but not saggy at all. All if that is done perfectly. For my own personal preference, I like the grease that comes off the cheese, and the crust itself lacks flavor. And sauce is also alittle bland. Decent slice for sure, and they are open till 930.

Mangia's was always my go to as a high schooler being that it's just down the block from North Babylon High School, but I was a bit disappointed with my visit today. I ordered my usual buffalo chicken slice, a broccoli pinwheel and had a 20 oz bottles drink. I still think their buffalo chicken is the best I've had. It's cheesy, loaded with big chunks of chicken and just perfectly spicy (no bleu cheese). The crust is crunchy and the slice is pretty big, too. The broccoli pinwheel was okay. I've had better, and I've had worse. In my opinion $8 is a bit pricey for a slice

A fine pizza establishment. Although it is nothing out of the ordinary, the service is great and they accomplish everything a pizza place needs to. There is a wide selection of sodas and bottled beer, which is unique for this area. They don't have a great variety of speciality slices but they have the important types : buffalo chicken, salad, penne and Sicilian. They have a few special items like rice balls, empanadas, and fresh donuts. Not to mention their garlic knots are HUGE and doughy.
If you want to sit down they have a all types of pastas and a few entrees. The menu does not show
