Services
Lindsey Funeral Home was established in 1915. It was opened under the name of Malone & Henning Funeral Home. In 1931 Mr. Charlie Lindsey became a partner with the firm and a few years later became sole owner and operator changing the name to Lindsey Funeral Home. In 1952 Mr. Lindsey sold the business to long time employee Mr. Earl Shelbourne, who had started with the firm in 1932.
At Lindsey Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
Immediate Burial: Your loved one would be buried or entombed without a visitation, a funeral service, or gathering. Graveside Service: Typically, this type of service is a small gathering at the cemetery to honor the life of your loved one before he/she is laid to rest. Funeral Service: A specified time that usually takes place at the funeral home or at a church.
Direct Cremation: This option is when your loved one is cremated and returned to the family directly. Memorial Visitation or Service: Generally, the cremation is performed, and an urn is selected by the family. Then, families would have a time of gathering with the urn and photos to celebrate and honor their loved one's life.
