George founded EDSI in 1995, and has more than 30 years of civil engineering experience in areas such as roadway/highway design, traffic signalization design, storm sewer analysis, site and grading plans, program management, and project supervision. Prior to starting EDSI, George worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, City of St. Louis, and architectural/engineering firms in the Midwest.

EDSI, as a subconsultant, was responsible for the civil site design work for a new decant pump station and lime systems building. We performed the topographic survey for the site and provided grading, utility design, erosion control measures, stormwater and sanitary design, and construction details as part of our responsibilities.
EDSI, as a prime consultant, provides Phase III engineering services for various projects throughout Districts 8 and 9 including duties which are normally performed by an IDOT Resident Engineer including inspection, layout, daily documentation, keeping a job diary, daily quantities, authorizations, field books, calculations, and testing for pavement marking removal and replacement with new pavement markings.
EDSI, as the prime consultant, is leading a team providing civil, structural, surveying, MEP, and architectural services to the Airport on a task order basis.
This contract allows the Airport to bring our team on for services including surveys, utility location, development of conceptual plans, design of capital improvement projects, cost estimating, inspection and analysis of repair options, preparation of bid documents, and other miscellaneous emergency projects.Our contract is for three years with an option to extend for an additional 2 years.

EDSI, was selected as a prime consultant to provide roadway/highway design services in the St. Louis District on an on-call basis. Projects may include widening, resurfacing, pavement reconstruction, utility coordination, stormwater retention, hydraulics, design and analysis of pedestrian and bicycle facilities and lighting.
