Services
South Loop Endoscopy and Wellness Center is an ambulatory surgical center (ASC) in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in Upper and Lower GI Endoscopies. It has been accredited by JCAHO, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare, and Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services. All our physicians and clinical staff are ACLS Certified (Cardiac Life Support Certified).
Our objective is to provide education to meet and enhance the patient's understanding of their health status, options for treatment, and the anticipated risks and benefits of treatment. We encourage patient participation in the decisions involving his/her care in order to maximize patient self-care skills.
Please contact our office to verify acceptance of your insurance plan. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own gastroenterologist. Our accepted insurance policies are with Blue Cross Blue Sheilds, United Health Care, Humana, SEIU, Medicare, HFN, Commercial Insurance, and Self-Pay.
Complimentary valet parking is available for patients and guests. Located at the entrance to the Surgical Center buildings, valet parking is offered when the facility is open for procedures. South Loop Cafe is in the same building as South Loop Endoscopy & Wellness Center, but from different entrance.
Please note that your requested time may not be available. We will contact you to confirm your final appointment date and time. Also, your insurance company may require authorization for your endoscopy procedures. Please allow us two weeks' time to contact your insurance company and get authorization.

No idea on the actual service provided but I have a future appointment for January 19th (three sheets of paper with that date on it) and they told me today I have my appointment for the 15th. This is ridiculous to have such a large change at the last minute. I have no idea how this happened.
**UPDATE** the staff here was fantastic. I think it's just an issue with the person doing the scheduling but I wanted to update this to 3 stars and it'd be an easy 5 star if the scheduling issues we're resolved.
