L&R Distributors opens its doors for business. Founded by the Lucas family its mission, to service the NYC market as a "Rack Jobber" of General Merchandise and Hair Appliances. L&R started out modestly by operating out of a small store-front operation and consistently grew by "pounding" the streets of NYC.

Many manufacturers have transportation systems that are efficient for selling full truckloads of product. However, many retailers and smaller distributors are not large enough to place orders of that size. The answer is LR's redistribution division - LR Logistical Solutions. This is a new service that can benefit all of our manufacturing partners.
