Camellia Place is an organization driven by a mission of adding life to years in providing assisted living and memory care services and nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of those we serve and employ. Our vision is to be a model-assisted living community by continually learning and providing extraordinary care and services whereby our encounters with residents create life-enhancing experiences that build lasting relationships.
Building on lifelong careers in healthcare, we founded Camellia Place to elevate expectations of assisted living and memory care. As lifelong southerners, we share a deep respect for family and understand the power of personal commitment. Camellia Place is the reality of our separate but similar dreams.
Each home is intentional in design, filled with the same amenities and opportunities that enable residents to be independent and purposeful in the moment. Each home is filled with unique individuals who have a story to tell and care is tailored to each resident. It is clear, no longer is an institutional approach to care what any of us want in our final years of life.
At Camellia Place, memory care residents are part of the larger community and are actively engaged in community-wide activities on a daily basis. We have 3 unique secured memory care houses, each designed for safety, with areas for group activities or individual interests. All meals are served in each home.

What a great experience! My mom has been at Camellia Place for almost two months and it has been a great move for her. While we were initially hesitant to move her during COVID we got to the point where we had to. Camellia Place has done a fantastic job enabling a safe and healthy transition. My mom loves it! She is actively participating in exercise, art, music and other activities after being largely isolated for almost a year.
You always wonder whether or not you are doing the right thing for your parent and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to choose Camellia Place.

Making the decision to move a loved one into assisted living is not easy, especially when that loved one was a very active 70-something who still enjoyed riding his bike and being outdoors, but whose declining memory made continuing to live alone a hazard to his safety. Care is subpar, this place reminds me of a new car dealership. During the sale you get grade A+, but as soon as your loved ones are in the care stops. The community is on frequent lockdown due to staff getting COVID. Medical care is extremely inconsistent, and to make matters worse the owners and executive director are very non-responsive. On top of that there price point is way to high for what you receive. There are way too many options in the north Atlanta area, definitely shop around.

My mom has been living at Camellia Place for over two years now, and I'm delighted to say that our entire family (including mom) has been so satisfied with our decision for her to live there. We toured many facilities and Camellia Place was an easy choice. The campus itself is immaculate and designed thoughtfully to feel like home, whereas most facilities feel more like a hotel. Their staff are all wonderful, caring, and best of all - my mom loves them. It is amazing to see her connect with the people who look after her, as well as with the other residents. My father arrived this summer. It has been a difficult transition for him emotionally. Of course, the place is beautiful with lots of very sweet people living there. What makes this place wonderful is the kindness shown by the staff. It is nothing short of amazing. My father, in particular, cannot say enough nice things about Ashley, Dennis, and Clayton - we are all lucky to have them.
