Jewelry By Leonard Designs started as Leonard Design Corp. in 1998, a jewelry manufacturing company lead by Carlos Larrea a master bench jeweler in North Bergen, New Jersey. Born and raised in Ecuador, Carlos came from a family jewelers who noticed his talent at young age and encouraged him to pursue his favorite "hobby" as a career.
No jewelry piece can last a few lifetimes without a little TLC and thats where we can help. With over 45 years of experience in working with jewelry and our own repair studio lead by our Master Jeweler, we are more then capable of handling any jewelry repair from ring sizing to soldering and beyond.

I would highly recommend Jewelry By Leonard Design! We have used them for many years from small battery replacements, repairs and jewelry cleaning to much larger work! I take my engagement and wedding rings each year to them to be cleaned and checked. They always take the time to fully look over the ring and the diamonds to make sure they are not lose and everything is secure.
Recently, I had to have the prongs on my engagement ring replaced. We were able to schedule an appointment with the jeweler and my husband was able to be in the back and watch all of the work being done. Totally trust them

I purchased 2 custom "wave" rings in white gold. There's 5 diamond chips; and I just love them! They're nice and smooth so that they won't pop my balloon sculptures (I'm a professional balloon artist). One of the rings was too tight, and they did the adjustment for free! $400 each.
While picking up the resized ring, I decided to buy this beautiful crucifix on a stainless steel chain. $30.

Absolutely amazing! I went to a jeweler in Matawan and they said they can't resize it and I should return it. I went to Jewelry by lenords they took the engagement ring from a 7 to a 6 and they did a fantastic job! They were so nice and wanted to help anyway possible! If you are looking to get your ring resized I highly recommend this place, they are affordable, super nice and they did mine the same day! I couldn't express how thankful I am for them!

Place is awesome! Originally, I chose them because of their high reviews. I needed to get my chain repaired and they worked diligently to make sure I had it done within the hour. I was in a pinch and needed it fixed as soon as possible. The repair was done beautifully and cleaned ever better! Highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase jewelry or jewelry repair.
