I'm honored that you are spending some time getting to know me and my business, RG Nutrition and Wellness. As a registered dietitian, wellness coach, and board certified specialist in sports dietetics, I help my clients reach their ultimate potential in health and wellness. I have an immense passion for nutrition and how food affects our bodies, minds and emotions.
Many times we focus solely on how to prepare for and care for our baby, neglecting to pay attention to our own health. But our health and that of our baby - both before and after birth - are inextricably linked. Research has shown the first 1,000 days from conception to age 2 is vital to long term health.
I love to cook, bake and of course - eat! For me, having a love of food means not only eating my favorite foods, but also bravely trying foods I never thought I'd eat. I'll try anything at least once. Sometimes your taste buds may surprise you! Yet I do have to admit there are a couple foods I simply don't enjoy, even after trying them a couple times: Uni (sea urchin) and raw oysters.
