OK... I gave this 4 stars because I eat here lot. It's not gourmet food by any stretch... but, if you want old timey meals, hot and filling, this is the place to go. It definitely needs updating in the decor department. But don't let that stop you. Good sized plates, Hot and tasty and filling. Oh and it's dirt cheap!!

Just old fashion place Original great Coffee and home cooked food wonderful specials everyday like home. Wished they'd stay open 24 hours id be there

Luv this place. Good food, great service and very reasonable prices.
If they granted me 3 wishes they would be
1. Add Baked Mac & Cheese to the menu.
2. Get a liquor license.
3. Be open 24 Hours.
They do have mac & cheese, but it's not baked and not on the menu.

Chicken Parm wasn't as good as I remember from when I lived here instead they used a chicken patty that I can only assume was one of those nasty frozen processed things instead of the former juicy real chicken breast breaded in the kitchen there. And sauce wasn't very tasty either. Salad and mozz sticks were good as always and our serve was amazing which she has been employed here since I can remember and she has always been an awesome server.

We were on a little vacation and stopped for dinner on our first night. Liked the food and service so much we went back the second night as well! Friendly staff, courteous, food was very good and service was quick.

Great family restaurant in Ashtabula, Ohio serving the area for over 30 years. Great quick service no matter what time you stop in. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

But how the hell do you screw up a salad order lettuce onion cheese and extra Italian dressing!!! It’s really annoying that simple orders get screwed up

Got take out lunch. Ruben with fries was fresh with plenty of kraut and a generous helping of corned beef. The bread was grilled nicely, not burnt or greasy. The staff at Kardohely's are friendly. It's a nice place to stop for lunch.

Always great service and great food here! Ok.... we're a little biased, lol
I'm kind of related to some of the staff BUT I also will give an honest review! We stop everytime were in town! Hubby says they still have the best sausage gravy he's ever had! Great prices too! Check it out when you're in the area!

Waitress couldn't remember drink order after 3 times. only came back to see if we needed anything else 1 time when started to eat. then just poured coffee for husband not even asking if he wanted more. rude. no tip when rude and don't ask before pouring more coffee and didn't have check ready. no tip

Great food! The portion sizes are huge, promise you’ll never leave hungry. The prices are very reasonable especially for the amount of food you receive!

We stumbled upon this nice family diner while in town for a cheer competition. We like to stop at locally owned places. This restaurant did not disappoint. The rest of my family chose breakfast (which is served all day) while I enjoyed a delicious chicken sandwich. Definitely a reasonably priced diner.

Great service, clean restaurant! It was very disappointing to find out half the items coming from the kitchen is microwaved and out of boxes🧐 who serves instant mashed potatoes and Macaroni and cheese from a box🤬, if the subpar food items are because of price I can’t imagine people would be upset with paying a few dollars more for fresh wholesome food. Instant iced tea WTH!!!

Their food is awesome. loved the NY Strip steak dinner. took a few friends with me and they loved their food also.

Wow, just wow... We had heard of this place before and so we were prepared for a satisfactory meal, but what we got instead went above and beyond! The wait staff here are par excellence, attentive to your needs and exceptionally polite! Our meals were far more awesome than we had anticipated, with the prime rib hitting all the right notes as well as sides. We had desserts as appetizers and were very pleased with the brownie delight being a perfect storm of moist and fudgy goodness. When we are traveling in the area again, this will totally be on our radar! Awesome food, even more awesome staff
