I am an asphalt/soils inspector and tester for King County and have worked with many asphalt paving crews over the last fifteen years. I had the pleasure of working with your crew on a road project for King County DOT on Preston-Fall City Road, the summer of 2005. From that experience I decided that this was the crew that I wanted to pave my driveway.
This checklist is designed as a reference tool to help homeowners understand their driveway needs and present possible solutions. Proper maintenance will help prolong the life of your asphalt and prevent premature replacement. When analyzing cracks in your driveway, it is important to determine if whether they are superficial or have widened enough to put the base in peril.
Paving operations are weather dependent. If it is just morning mist or very light rain, we will sometimes work through it. If it is raining heavily or snowing, we normally reschedule the project until a dry day. Asphalt can be applied year round provided temperature and ground conditions are adequate.

We contracted Sutter Paving to remove and replace the old crumbling driveway at our home. After the work was done we immediately asked that they do warranty work to correct the unevenness, patches, and hole. We finally got the project manager out to review the issues, he admitted the mix and spreading of the mix was not proper. He left with our list of issues. Then the owner came right out unannounced while we were having dinner. We took the time to do another walk through and the owner admitted the workmanship could have been better. He proceeded to tell us that nothing would be done to correct

We had Sutter come out to give us a quote. They had good communication and showed up right when they said they would. We were really disappointed at how rude he was to us, for no reason. He insinuated we wanted a cheap job and wouldn't be able to afford what he would cost before even asking us about our budget or what we wanted to spend. We ended up spending the same amount of money that he quoted us for, but with a much friendlier company.

On August 5th 2019 Sutter paving did our driveway. I truly can't say enough about how this company treated my wife and I from start to finish. Leonard, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Their work was absolutely fantastic, and their price couldn't be matched. Lenel, who usually comes out to do the bids, was also an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you need any asphalt work done, I promise you, you will not be disappointed. We could not be happier that we chose Sutter paving!!!

Leonard at Sutter Paving and his team did a fantastic job on topping our dirt road that services 30 families. The surface was well laid and compressed including a very difficult hill section. His team was professional and courteous and assured very little disruption to the daily traffic flow. Great job guys !!

Leonard has never been hired. Not even considered. My post here is one that I think people should know about Leonard if they are considering hiring him or if they own their own company because of the nature of his threats.
He came in to my office just 15 minutes passed his appointed time and was cordial. My assistant attempted to assist him 10 minutes later but Leonard said he had to leave because he had other things to do. It wasn't until I was leaving that day, that I received an email for Leonard stating that he was going to extort me and my company for wasting his time and that if we
