Semler Appraisals & Estate Liq
We provide estate and moving sales in the North Texas area and work with executors, heirs, estate attorneys, CPAs and bank trust officers to sell estates. We conduct estate sales in the home and are able to sell not just the contents (personal property), but the real estate as well. Proprietor Lorrie Semler is a licensed real estate agent in Texas.

The decision to sell or downsize one's personal property may be necessitated by retirement, relocation, divorce, or the combining of two households. If you are the executor of an estate, you may be responsible for disposal of the contents of a relative's home. Whatever the situation, you may be overwhelmed by the decisions you face.
Services
Our goal is to be THE one-stop source for your personal property appraisal and estate liquidation needs in North Texas. In 1992, after many years as a dealer in the antiques and collectibles business, Lorrie Semler launched Semler Appraisals. When formal courses in appraisal theory and practice were offered in Dallas by the International Society of Appraisers in 1993, Lorrie took the classes and passed the rigorous tests, then began appraising.

As hard as we may try, we may not be able to adequately prepare for all of the pitfalls of life. A professional personal property appraiser plays a crucial role in navigating what is often referred to as the "four D's": death, disaster, divorce, and debt. A professional personal property appraiser can provide an opinion of value to assist with the equitable division of property.
