CDPAP stands for "Consumer Directed Personal Assistant Program". Funded by Medicaid, the program enables people who need assistance with daily living to choose someone they know and trust to be their caregiver. Caregivers are paid by Horizon. Anyone you want, except your spouse and parents for their child who's under 21 years of age, can enroll and become your paid personal assistant.

I would give it more stars if there is more . Signed up my mother with Horizon for the CDPAP program , it was an easy and quick process. less than a month later i was already receiving my Horizon paycheck for taking care of my mother. Signed up my grandmother for CDPAP services through Horizon. I must say they were really helpful, from the girl in intake to basically everything utill approval. And I just got my first paycheck from Horizon for being the aide, which makes it even better. Great agency, great customer service! Highly Recommend!
