I have enjoyed coming to Andreas Hogue and love my stylist/colorist Valerie. She is a true professional and artist. My hair has never looked so healthy, colorific, and soft. The salon is extremely clean, the staff is always a pleasure and the energy inside the salon is so positive! Simona is a delight too!!!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly, professional staff and Valerie is awesome. The color she suggested works beautifully for the "natural" look I wanted. I don't usually take the time to do reviews but I am so happy I found this salon, I didn't hesitate and it was easy to write.

Always a great experience at this salon! Valerie is terrific with blonde color - highly recommend her. She is also great with cuts. The salon did a great job with make-up and hair styling for a photo shoot. I found out that the photographer recommends this salon for hair and make up as well when I shared where I went. Lots of great products and accessories available too.

Andrea's salon is not only adorable but all of the staff are fantastic. I only started to go a few months ago and have gotten a haircut and color by Ariana. She is a young but talented hairdresser who executed my fall hair color perfectly. They have a whole section up front if you are looking for gifts for someone plus all of the best salon quality hair products. They also have been able to work around my busy work schedule which is something that was hard for me to find at other salons. Love this salon and everything they have been doing

The customer service for a salon can't be beat. It starts with the first contact on the phone for a first appointment. You feel treated how a me customer should be treated. They provide advice that is outstanding on who would be the best fit for what you are looking for. I talked to two of them who were outstanding in every respect and both would of done a great job. To say the least I got my hair cut immediately for the best haircut in my life!!! The reviews online are accurate in every respect and if greater than 5 0 was allowed they should receive 10.0. I will be back.

I got my hair done recently by Hannah Moretta. She was very professional and took the time out of her busy schedule to ensure she understood exactly what I wanted. She also was very upfront and honest about what I should expect realistically after 1 session. I’m absolutely in love!!! She did a color correction balayage color melt on me and it lifted to my dream hair! Can’t wait to go back and get it touched up soon as she will be my new regular hair stylist.

I absolutely LOVE April’s work she is a magician and her work is revolutionary. She understands what the clients wants, she listens and also knows what is current, what suits a face structure, hair texture etc and combines all of those complex elements into a beautiful cut and color! I’m hooked for life (it’s incredibly hard to find the perfect hairdresser)

Overcharging and hiding it. These are the two main things that define how unprofessional the receptionist was this evening. All I wanted was to dye my hair one color with a trim as discussed over the phone for $85 for both the color and the trim. After my hair was colored and trimmed I walked over to the front counter to pay and my total was a whopping $215. I questioned her at first asking if she had the correct client and she repeated the woman's name who did my hair and barked back, "Yes, that'll be $215 for everything done today." This is by far and away the best salon on the NorthShore, let alone in all of Chicagoland! If you are looking for a salon where a client can sit down, relax, and not worry about someone ruining their hair, even if they're a new client. This is definitely the right spot! And talk about feeling safe and secure in the midst of Covid-19 and the pandemic... this is truly the utmost in terms of precautions being taken, cleanliness, and safe distancing.

When Kevin Hehr recently moved to this salon I followed him there. I had met him three years ago and have been happier with his work on my hair than anyone ever. He is so skilled, so talented, and very in tune with what I need out of a haircut color etc. He is simply the BEST. He has the ability to add a gentle curl, subtle color, natural highlights, and a modern cut to make me look a decade younger. And the time in the chair is fun and relaxing. The salon itself is airy and bright. Everyone is friendly. It is always a terrific experience with excellent results.

I always dread getting my hair cut and hair colored because I'm so picky and always have a hard time finding a good stylist. I came to Andreas Hogue on a whim because it was conveniently located to the studio next door where I get my lashes done.

Just started going here a couple months ago. For the last 30 years I've had some and color my hair and I've always been called a redhead even though we never use anything red on my hair. There is nothing wrong with redheads I am definitely a light brown with blonde highlights but my color has I was turned super brassy. After 30 years I decided to give someone else a try and go to Darlene who is an educator of color who works at Andreas Hogue. I have had her color my hair twice now and it is 100% better in terms of brassiness yeah no one has called me a redhead in two months!!! Super friendly

I decided to try this salon solely based on the great reviews. I made an appointment with Jackie for a full foil and cut. She was AMAZING!!! So friendly the entire time and constantly making sure I was comfortable! She went over what I wanted done, and it came out perfect. I will definitely be back!

I went to the location in Vernon Hills and Vickie was incredible. I moved recently and found this salon. As usual, I knew I needed a change but didn't really know what I wanted. I had a quick consultation with Vickie. She really listened to what I was liked and what I needed with work/mom life/etc. I can honestly saw it's been quite awhile since I've LOVED my cut and color upon leaving a salon. I can't recommend highly enough. Go to the location in Vernon Hills and spend time with Vickie! Also, the salon ambiance and vibes are very relaxing. Great way to spend some much needed

I've been going to Marta now for over 10 years. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a Men's Haircut. I recommended her to my sister too, and I can attest to her great cuts, color and styling for both women and men. I always go back to her, even while living in the city or when i was in college in Iowa. She knows me well at this point and makes me feel super comfortable. I know I'm in great hands with her and I'm never disappointed.
The only cons are that she books up fast so it's hard to get an appointment the same week. Sometimes you have to wait 2 weeks or more
