Services
Ferrante's Marketplace Cafe is a family affair. Robbie and Tony Ferrante cooked up the idea for their Italian eatery while planning their wedding reception. Both came from families that are passionate about one thing - food. So with the help of family recipes which had been passed down for generations, Robbie and Tony opened Ferrante's Marketplace Cafe in 2004 on S. Regal in Spokane.

This is one our favorite places to go, the service is always so great everyone is always so friendly we have never had a bad meal here.
I absolutely love the shopping area they have some of the most amazing things.
Last night we went in we had the peas and bacon and the steak salad… it was just as delicious as always. Marissa helped us and she was just fantastic, she recommended the banana bread chocolate chip Gelato and OH MY GOD…. DELICIOUS!
Highly recommend

I picked up a to go order placed by my wife. Apparently they also sent me home with someone else's orders as well.
My wife called to let them know... the lady at the counter was very nice and said if we couldn't bring them back, they were ours.
(Sorry to say, on Dec. 23rd, we don't really have time to drive back extra, mistaken orders back to Ferrantes)
A couple minutes later, my wife gets an angry call from manager Nick accusing us of saying it was all our order (what?), and getting mad that my wife won't drive the extra orders back to the restaurant (what?!?).
After all

Not impressed I came here for lunch with a friend. Their service model is strange. They seat you, give you menus and then tell you to come to the counter to order. Drinks aren't listed on the menu. The counter girl didn't seem to care we were there when we asked what they had to drink she pointed us to the cooler. They had a water dispenser with disposable cups, self service. I had to ask for ice. It melted very quickly so it hardly chilled my water. If she talked to us about the drinks we would have ordered something. I understand the "pizza model" but why seat you and give

This was the first time we have eaten there and I have to say the food was excellent. We will diffenteley eat there again. Very unique Market Place with a mixture of jams, sauces and candy's. Excellent wine selection which you could purchase to have with your meal. Also a touch of jewelery, handbags and candles. Not to be forgotten the great selection of ice cream which was truly amazing.

Be aware. No mask no service. I've tried their Calzone three times. Figured I'd give them a fair chance to get it right. Burned every single time. I'm sure it would have a good flavor if I could get past the taste of BURNT. Enough said. I just don't think paying top dollar for char is worth it and I'm not comfortable paying top dollar to test out any of the other menu items.
Skip Ferrante's and go straight to Ferraro's for excellent Italian food.

I place an online order to pick up. Got there and I was not wearing mask. Before the man would even talk to me he shoved a box of masks in my face. I said no thank you I can't wear those. I said I can wait outside for till its ready. He said how are you going to get your food? I said you could bring it to me. Keep in mind the counter is 5 feet from the door where their outside seating is. I waited patiently outside and then realized I did not give them my name so I called and the gal said i would have to come into the restaurant if I had an order. I responded I can not wear a mask I have COPD and

Shop area was cute. Food was okay. Cranberry salad was good. I ordered the caprese panini. ZERO basil. And tasted mostly like balsamic. Chicken parm was super over cooked. Almost burned. I personally did not love the marina sauce. Im not a fan of oregano seasoning. And it was definitely oregano flavored. I did by a few cute trinkets tho!

Sooooooo good! This place is awesome !!! Sorry the photo had a partially eaten meal. The house dressing has perfect vinegar and I can tell right now I will crave it night and day. The Pizza is so fresh and delicious. It's a way cool cafe and offers specialty items to purchase as well. Best lunch I have had in a while. Place Ferrante's at the top of your list!

First time visit and very disappointed. Greeted by very friendly staff who seated us in a very small and dark two too table in the very back corner of the dining room. There was only one other couple in the place. She gave the menu and explained how you order at the counter and they will call out your name when it us ready to come get it. No service. Moved to another table as we could not stand the dark cramped corner bench seat they had placed us in.
Menu had plenty of pizza and pasta dishes which I don't eat. After going to counter to order a glass of wine I studied the menu and ordered

Went to Ferrantes at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. There are capacity limitations because of covid but it was not busy. Plenty of open tables/booths. We were seated at a very small table in the back, incredibly hard seats and fairly close to another diner who was coughing excessively. Not a good sound during a pandemic.
When I went to the counter to order I asked if we could sit at another table. The server initially said yes, but then the owner/manager came over and said no because it was 5pm on a Friday evening. It was not busy, by the way. I said we'd rather eat elsewhere than sit in that

We've lived in the neighborhood for years and had never gone to Ferrantes. Tonight we decided to try something new so we ordered dinner from Ferrantes. It's excellent. We ordered 2 calzones and a Spinach Chicken Salad We give them a 5 Star rating and a big thumbs up. Now we have a new favorite to dine at

Ferrantes is a unique offering in spokane, part market, part deli, part restaurant. You order your food at the counter and the chef (too softly imo) calls your name when it's ready. They have a good selection of local wines and they are the only source on the south hill for gelato. And it's good.
The Italian food is pretty average. I had the diablo chicken and it wasn't spicy, no heat...and the cream sauce was very blasé. There were no forward flavors that stood out and the whole thing was pretty bland.
The calzone my hubs had was massive but it was served burnt on

Nice atmosphere, order at the counter and pick your food and silverware up at the window. Bread with balsamic was good. Crispy chicken was good. Caesar salad was just a hand full of romaine with bottled dressing drizzle over it. My wife had the special meatball & linguine and she thought meatballs tasted bad. I tasted them and they were really heavy on herbs. We’ll not be going back.
