Hello, my name is Earnest Travis and I would like to welcome you to Springfield Dance Studio! I began dancing at a very early age and have been fortunate to turn my passion into my profession, teaching many forms of dance for over thirty five years. As a certified Pro/Am Competitor with the Dance Council of America since the age of 18, I have had the opportunity to dance all over the world.
At Springfield Dance Studio thirty five years of experience in different styles of dance (including Ballroom, Tap, Jazz, Clog, Buck Dance, Flatfooting, Square Dance) has uniquely positioned us to provide dance instruction unlike the rest of the world. We pride ourselves in taking someone who has never danced and creating a dancer who can soon have fun at nightclubs of any kind and even advance to the point of participating in competitions.

Services
It's your wedding day! We know how important that is and we want to help you make it even more special. Our qualified instructors will work with you to choreograph the entire dance to "your song". When that moment arrives for the First Dance, everyone will be amazed at your style and grace. Our customized program will allow you to confidently step onto the dance floor, without the awkwardness most couples experience.
Whether you are just a beginner who wants to dance for enjoyment or a seasoned dancer wanting to broaden your knowledge and improve your technique, Springfield Dance Studio offers classes individually tailored to help you achieve your personal goals. It doesn't matter if you're a couple or an individual, we will have a professional partner waiting to dance with you.
Everyone is welcome to attend the bi-monthly dance party held on the first and third Sundays from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The cost is $12 per person. We will also have special theme parties on the 4th Saturday evening of every month from 6:00 - 9:00. Cost for theme parties will vary depending on the theme and whether food is supplied.

I would highly recommend Springfield Dance Studio to anyone! The instructors are knowledgeable and make learning any type of dance fun and easy. Everyone is friendly and pricing is very reasonable. Earnest is fantastic at choreographing and tailoring lessons to your individual needs. Springfield and surrounding areas are blessed to have such talent in a small town.
