Mission Statement: Resolve the customer's private water well system problem as efficiently and quickly as possible. Tom Stevens began working in the well water industry in 1958 and founded T. L. Stevens Well Company in 1994. His son, Joe Stevens, assumed company operations upon Tom's retirement in 2015.
Our goal is to find an abundant water supply for your well, at a reasonable price to you. To provide the most accurate estimate possible, T. L. Stevens Well Company researches ground geology near the new water well drilling site. This helps determine the well type and well depth. If both screened and bedrock wells exist in the same area, the exact well type cannot be determined until the driller sees the actual ground geology.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), statute 4725 states that not-in-use wells must be made operable, sealed, or granted a variance before a property is sold. Not-in-use wells must be sealed by an MDH approved, licensed contractor. The contractor must document and file the well sealing record with MDH.

They made it work for a last minute appointment for my elderly grandma because she didn’t have any running water. We recently hired TL Stevens to upgrade our well to a new constant pressure system.
Their quote was very detailed compared to other vendors we considered and made it much easier to understand what was being installed in my home.
The entire staff was very friendly and easy to work with even with my many questions and repeat phone calls when trying to fully understand the features, warranties, and charges associated with the proposed system.

When our water went out, Steven's went into action. Joe came out and thoroughly diagnosed our problem (well pump out) and Steve was out to fix it. They both were professional, personable and reliable! The estimate was right on, no surprises. We also needed a new well tank and they took care of that too. The old huge tank was taken out of our 100 year cellar without a hitch! What seemed to be a massive undertaking, Steven's made it look easy. Excellent Company!

T.L Stevens is on top of my referral list, their company is a breath of fresh air. They recently completed two well sealings on my rental property in a timely and professional manner, they even had a back up plan if the weather went below freezing. I received a competitive estimate prior to the work being performed, and decided to go with them. Once the job was completed, the price actually went down! I had a situation where I was loosing my water pressure, and it was 7 past in the evening. I was in a desperate situation. Steven, even though 19 miles away, got the call right away and guided me over the phone for 12 minutes step by step to isolate the issue in my well control system. I got it fixed at this desperate hour. I offered to pay him. He didn’t want. He just wanted to help me out. What a wonderful service!

Had TL Stevens out to seal my well in Maple Grove. I had sold my home and needed it done prior to closing. We have been In the middle of this stupid polar vortex so I was nervous about getting it done prior to closing. Steve and his helper came out on a Saturday to get it done for me. They did a awesome job and I’m super happy with the work they did. I will recommend them to all my neighbors who also need their wells sealed. 5+ stars. Great work.
