Ive been to many other therapists before, and I honestly feel that Dr Silverman is different.
First of all, I feel like she is actually paying attention each and every session. (I've had other therapists who just sit there, nod their head, and say a handful of generic therapy phrases every couple minutes.) I get frustrated and quit therapy pretty soon after I start usually. But Ive continued to see Dr Silverman.
Dr Silverman never seems to forget what I talked about in previous sessions, and she can tie themes together from what Ive told her. I feel like she has given me a few different
