Services
Perform skilled personal care services for those recuperating from acute illness or with long term disabilities. Assist Client using safe techniques for personal care needs such as bathing, elimination needs, transferring, dressing/undressing and ambulation together with any household task (e.g., making bed, changing linens, laundry, light housekeeping, etc.) essential to the client's health in accordance with the care plan.
Mom was 73 years old when dad died. Although she had never lived alone a day in her life, she was very determined to live independently in her own home. She took on the tasks of learning to maintain her home, manage her finances and handle the upkeep of her car. In the next decade, her health began to threaten her independence.
