In the beginning of the new century, Jennifer and Johnna met at a dinner party. They talked about food, they talked about recipes they had tried, techniques they had perfected, and kitchen disasters they had suffered. Both of the ladies were intrigued by one another's culinary insights. Johnna was a graduate of Napa Valley Cooking School and had worked her way through the kitchens of many of Napa's most popular haunts.
Jennifer was an art student who had decided to focus on food as her new medium, enjoying the balance of aesthetics and taste, and the complexity of plating food. A partnership was born. Johnna's perfected culinary talents brought lightning speed knife cuts and precise timing to the table, while Jennifer's history as a coordinator of a festival kitchen brought the ability to serve lunch for a thousand with grace.

The owners and staff of J Catering are incredible! They are so kind and put so much love into their food. I've worked with them quite a bit as a wedding planner, and I can't say enough good things about them and their food. If you're hosting a catered event, this is your one stop shop!

BEYOND AMAZING!! These ladies know their food, not to mention the incredible presentation. Johnna and her parter were both so kind and obviously know how to make the most flavorful dishes. We hired J Catering for our outdoor wedding and we couldn't have been happier. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how great the food was and how they even went up for second helpings.
From our first conversation to the wedding, everything was done with grace and professionalism. I would hire them again and again and will speak their praises to all of my friends who ever need a caterer.

We had our Gyppo holiday party last night with J catering our dinner. Everything was delicious. I loved the salad, the roasted veggies were a nice mix and roasted beautifully, and the beef entree was cooked perfectly for our group. All was served on time, nicely presented and the crew was very professional! Thank you for our dinner, and helping to my evening out of the kitchen so enjoyable! Cheers.

The ladies from J Catering outdid themselves for my event. Everything was so good that people are still stopping me in the street, grocery store, ect to tell me how wonderful the food was. They were very professional, dropping off all the appetizers and coming back three hours later to plate up all the side dishes. All of the salads, especially the thai peanut salad, were delicious. The appetizers were wonderful also. The presentation was lovely, and they were able to provide all the platters, even for the bbq they didn't prepare. I cannot recommend them enough and will use them again
