I have never been here but can already tell I’m not interested in going. As soon as I called someone was trying to help me get an appointment. She then realized there were no more slots open for today. I would have been perfectly fine with that and tried to come a different day but instead the person who was on the phone said “there’s no appointments today anyway” and hung up the phone before I could say anything. People really need to learn customer service can make a break your business. Thanks.

If I could give this salon less than 1 star rating I would. I walked in to get a basic shampoo, conditioner and blow dry. At the end of my service I asked how much and was told $60. This did not include any styling to my hair at all. The shampoo itself was mediocre and hardly worth the price paid. I would not recommend this price gouger to anyone. Take your money elsewhere.

I've been searching for a professional hair salon to treat my daughter with an excellent first time experience. I was amazed by the time and effort Esther made and was not disappointed by the results. I would suggest her to anyone. Especially for dad's that are not experience with hair salons. Pros: The scalp treatment worked very well. The process wasn’t painful.
Cons: Very disappointed with my braids. The lady who did my hair barely spoke to me. I felt like I was unwelcome and she didn’t really want to be there. I had to ask for my hair to be washed, then I got as charged for that. I’ve never been charged separately for a hair wash. My braids were not done well at the points where additional hair was added. The connection is loose on multiple braids. When I noticed one, the braider just snipped the loop and left it. I found even more loose connections when I got home. I feel

This is a newly opened shop in the area .When I walked in it was nice but the day of my appointment the stylist asked if I could come 15 mins later than the appointment and she arrived 19 mins late. I expected to get a trim , my hair was snipped and wash .I needed a protective style for my hair which cornrows can never go wrong but it this case it did . My hair was braided and instead of my cornrows having a nice length with extensions was cut rubberbands were placed at the end of my braids . Which usually the braids are dipped in hot water well the day after the appointment and $102 later. The

Quite classy owner who knows how to treat customers right. She was able to take me right away due to a previous appointment cancelled. Met the 1st time and well respected all around. Service top notch! Products used to wash and condition hair, "fresh"! She also makes custom wigs and the hair removed will now become a new permanent wear on occassion. Was not expecting this! First and quite possibly the last time visiting this place. Unless you have an ample amount of time on your hands you might want to look elsewhere. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30p I came in early since my meeting ended early. When I arrived, I realized she was working on two other customers at the same time. When it came close to my appointment another customer who I hadn't noticed when I first arrived had already been waiting. She started to help him and my wait continued well past my appointment time. An addition client making the number four who had also been waiting opted to come back

I went to this place on a recommendation. However, I knew leaving that I wouldn't be coming back. I went in to get my hair braided and did not get what I asked for. The woman doing braids left them too long when I told her from the beginning I didn't want braids hanging down my back. She replied "that's the way everyone is wearing them". So I ended up cutting them at home. The other woman that began helping her kept pulling my hair too tight after I told her it hurt. She was like "it will feel better when I move my hand". I could feel my hair pulling from my scalp

I don't know what's the reasoning for scheduling appointments if it never starts on time. I had an appointment today at 2 for box braids. Now I understand that hair appointments along with doctor appointments never start on time, but for me to be sitting there for 30-35 minutes and no one can tell me where their braided is is very unacceptable. Definitely lost a customer.

I've been coming to this salon for about a year. I love what they do to my hair. I usually get simple things done to my hair but they don't overcharge me. I get what I pay for. Esther (salon owner) always asks me about my hair and what I've done to it recently if I haven't been in the shop lately. Every time she's washing my hair she ask if I'm ok does my hair itch and where so she can relieve my problems. Recently I was in the shop getting my hair done and a lady came in to ask about her hair getting braided. She asked if her hair was long for it to get braided. Esther

I'm very pleased and happy with my service. I have been going to Ms. Esther for 7 years and I have been very happy EVERY time. Going to any salon you might have to wait, I just take a magazine and make sure my phone is fully charged. I know how hard it it finding a salon, but I went out on a limb and have been very pleased. I would suggest you give them a chance. Ms. Esther is an artist and I allow her to be creative with my hair. When I first went in 2008, my hair was below my ear lobes and now it's down the middle of my back. Thank you Ms. Esther!!!! As long as you are in business, I'll continue

This 'One Woman' show is AMAZING!! Esther, the owner, knows how to treat her customers. She listens and knows exactly what the customers want. I was so HAPPY when I left her shop with my new haircut. I found her shop when my regular shop was closed on a Tuesday, and I have never went back, definitely staying with Esther at Passion Hair on Rt. 1

I will never come here again, don't and I repeat DON'T ever get weave done by the owner. First of all, the base of my hair was braided straight back and sewed into a clump! Then, 4 days later I already had tracks slipping and had to find the time to go back and get them fixed (for free). Now, I am only at week 3 and I have 3 more tracks slipping..I mean a full INCH of 3 different tracks plus a few edges coming out. 3 freaking weeks and I already need to take it out because it wont stay sewed in, and the back is lifting because of the clump of hair I have sewed down. I am extremely disappointed

I have been there three times (braids twice- wash and set once) and the prices changes without communication with me. The first time I waited almost 30 minutes for them to start my braids and was upcharged. Second time I was styled by the owner and she gave me a discount because of the medoicre service and upcharge I had prior. The last time I even confirmed the rate multiple times before and during braiding but when I got up the price was upwards of $20 more then what was agreed upon.
The braids look descent at first but they began to loosen less than three weeks after service. I
