We believe every motorcycle can be saved no matter the age or state of disrepair. Our shop is dedicated to the survival of the temperamental two wheeled stallions that have been around since the beginning of time. Unlike most of today's repair shops and dealerships that only focus on modern motorcycles, we dedicate our time and energy on the forgotten air cooled monsters that once ruled the road and track.

Services
HDR has the ability to service and repair all makes and models. The need for vintage parts is in high demand, as an authorized repair shop for various distributors, we have you covered. If we can't find the right part for your motorcycle, our fabrication side can come up with an alternative solution.
We are located in southeast Portland, on Foster south of Powell Blvd., next to the Slingshot Lounge on 56th Ave. We are by appointment only. After wasting hundreds of dollars and several months going from shop to shop I was finally referred to HDR. I have a 79' Honda XL500s that needed a complete electrical overhaul and Gage happens to know quite a bit about this bike that was only made for five years. Gage was very transparent about the whole process and I would get updates with every step of progress. I'm confident I got the best treatment available in Portland and I will remain a customer should I need work done in the future.

The HDR team is top notch. I have consistently and exclusively been using their services for a year and they always exceed my expectation. Whether you need routine maintenance or custom work they’ve got you covered. I have a 2019 Triumph Bonneville 1200 and it’s clear they work on it with ease and expertise. Based on the variety of bikes that I’ve seen in the shop it’s obvious that they’re agnostic to all styles and builds. I’m already obsessing over my next project and I’ll certainly be partnering with HDR to help me. 5 stars. - Ross

I was referred to HDR by the folks at Cycle Heap a few years ago. Although I enjoy working on my own bikes sometimes, I'm more than happy to have the HDR crew tackle things that are outside my skillset. I think they've worked on 3 of my motorcycles now, and done everything from chasing down electrical issues to a full engine rebuild. The level of service, attention to detail, and caliber of work is better than any shop I've gone to in the last 10 years.
